Good new, though I do expect a new xbox and playstation console to come out within the next 3 years. Espically if both platforms want to keep up graphically with the PC.
I prefer the original artwork to the fan modified version. While I don't think it is sad or depressing that the artwork was modified to give her big breasts. AS people have been doing modified fan artwork for ages and it's pretty much to be expected.
I just hope the artist/fan doesn't think for a woman to beautiful that she needs double D sized breasts.
Personally I like the song before seeing the video, so I may be a tad bias. But I found the video to be well done.
It was amazing game, though I was a bit underwhelmed with the game when I first player it. Though it is worth noting that the two games that I played before Zelda was Half-Life and Metal Gear Solid.
Nice, my g/f loves "The Guild" and I might actually watch it with her now that I can sit on my couch and see it.
It makes sense to me that Sony's movie division would want to rent/purchase titles on Xbox Live. As it's an easy and simple way to make an additional profit and in the bottom line in any business is to profit.
I have yet to try "Left 4 Dead", but I found the article an interesting read on where gameplay pacing and storyline might be heading in the near future.
At least they are being honest and upfront on the game really being an expansion.
Rented it on Sunday and while the graphics aren't half bad. It's definitly a game I'm not planning on purchasing.
I understand all the hype this game is getting and it's probably well deserved but for some reason the game didn't click with me and with so many other games to play this season. I'm going to pass.
I'm still going to pick up Mirror's Edge. Loved the demo and soundtrack was amazing as well.
Good review
After playing through the single portion of the game I would give the game 9 out 10. I'm not really into multiplayer gaming. The storyline was interesting along with the level design. Beside the feeling of been-there-done-that it was great game.
Also did anyone else notice that some of the sound effects in the game sounded like they came from Doom? I'm not saying the sound effects were bad, I just kept on hearing the Doom "door opening" sound ...
I just rented Valkyrie Chronicles on Sunday and I have to say it's pretty decent strategy game. Though I am not sure if I am going to play it in till the end though.
Comparisons about which game is better is pointless it's all matter of personal choice,
Though what I do find interesting is that R2 and Gears2 share a lot of the same storyline elements.
R2 looks better in motion then it does in those screen-shots
actually there are loading screens, but only if you skip the opening cinematic at the beginning of every level, though most people won't ever see them
Honesty I don't really care about who has the fancier graphics anymore. I had fun playing Uncharted last December and I'm sure I will have fun playing the newest Tomb Raider at some point as well.
I still remember the interview with Spark and how they blamed their publisher for how bad "Turning Point" turned out and how it would be different with Legendary.
So I gave them the benefit of doubt but after reading review after review that Legendary suffers the same faults as Turning Point. I feel that the blame should now go to the developer.
Played through MGS4 in a week, wasn't my cup of tea and ended up selling it to a buddy and told me that he loved it.
Though I do agree that now that there is a demo everyone should download it and give it a try.
Isn't it a little bit early to pick the game of the year. There are still at least two big titles coming out for PS3 (Mirror's Edge, Price of Persia).
Sure they may be multi-platform, but shouldn't be counted out.
I agree you can't use a single game to judge if a reviewer is bias or not. Most reviewers have their own gaming preferences. Honesty if reviewers were bias or paid off by a third-party the reviews would be more negative and not off by a few marks.
I can't judge on Killzone2 as I am not part of the beta, but no matter what the reviewers say I'll be giving it a try February.
