Good week for shooter fans, of course as an overwhelmed multi-console owner I'm probably a month a way from playing both games.
I prefer Dead Space, but I found Silent Hill to be more scary. While at the same time I was bored quickly in Silent Hill and can't wait to get back and play through Dead Space one more time.
In Dead Space you were pretty much armed to the teeth with weapons that can easily take down about anything.
While in Silent Hill you are often stuck with a melee weapon and have to get up and close with enemies.
shame, I was hoping for a nice supernatural FPS to play this winter. I guess I'll have to wait for Doom4 for my fix.
sad news, I've been looking forward to Brutal Legend for awhile. It seems Tim Schafer can't get a break.
good score, but the game is not for me I tried the demo and didn't like the feel of the strategy elements in the game. So I'm going to pass on this title.
I still remember playing Half-Life for the first time over my Christmas break that year.
excellent, another good FPS shooter to play this Winter, thought since I am still playing Far Cry 2 and soon Fallout 3. I might have to wait a few weeks/months to play Resistance 2.
time will tell
I've noticed the servers becoming available and not available yesterday, not really a big deal as I still have to story mode to complete.
Though when I was connected I wish there was an option to just list user-created levels. As when more and more user created levels are released the current interface will make it hard to find new created levels.
I thought it was meh personally, overall I preferred the animated comic storyline that appeared before the games release.
amusing how it's always fanboys themselves that scream the loudest about sites being bias
meh, installs don't bother me
When Tomb Raider switched developers a few years back and the game series was given a second life with a great title.
Most of the reasons given in the article could be applied to any number of games and really didn't give a good reason why Underworld will suck.
TeamXbox has been a good source for unbias and great reviews
I predict a 6 year time span myself for Sony and MS. As RAM in both machines is low and will need to be increased by at least double to keep pace with PCs.
I usually have two charge packs so I never run into charge issues
Not really a big deal, smart on Sony's part in dealing with the problem now instead of hoping no one will notice.
is anybody surprised by this? people have done this ever since sites started offering user reviews
amusing
and my ignore list grows yet again
