Excellent, unlike some people I enjoyed the first game and hope that 2nd game in the series is a tad longer.
I had high hopes for this game when I saw the first screenshot. Though releasing a game in December makes me have a few doubts.
Why does he have to defend his choice. GOTY is subjective.
Good news for Epic.. as for all the Resistance 2 hate, I have one word WHY.
Both games are in different genres. Its as pointless as the Halo Wars and Killzone 2 comparisons that will be happening in 2 months time.
Excellent, I can get a RTS and FPS fix that month.
What developers need to do is to sell new games for the price they are now, but after 6 months re-release the game for a cheaper price ($30).
Personally after playing the game. I feel that some of the reviews were unfair. I had a blast playing Legendary and found the graphics not to be too bad.
While the game wasn't anything special (played more like an updated Doom) I would recommend for people to at least give the game a rent.
With PC's its often buggy on one machine and while on others no problems will appear. So the bugs that being reported might only happen with 10% percent of the people playing the game or 90%. It all depends on the hardware.
while I can't comment Darkseider's post as I have him blocked and don't care enough to click on show.
My comments are for gw4k. While haven't used google's web based apps yet so I can't comment on them. I am pretty happy with MS Office, I've never had it crash on me and for the most part the spam filter works.
What some people don't understand is for certain professions it doesn't really make sense to shift away from Microsoft products (at the moment). For example ...
I voted for LBP, though my own personal game of the year will probably be Fallout3. The only reason I didn't chose Fallout3 is because I have yet to play the game (saving it for my break).
This is why I never go shopping on Black Friday or Boxing Day
Sounds more like damage control to me.
I remember the company of the vaporware console "Phantom" used to do the same thing when people labeled their product vaporware.
Though I am hoping that I am wrong as I would like to see this game made.
amusing
Nice price, definitly going to consider purchasing the add-on. Though it all depends on if they are going to the same route as GTA4 and have a some-what realistic portray of the main character and an interesting storyline or if it's just going to be a bunch missions on a bike.
I've re-read the Resistance 2 Edge review and not found anything in the review that leads me to believe that there was any corruption or foul play when it came to the review process.
Just a reviewer that ended up not liking the game as much as everyone else and you as reader have the option in the future not to read any of his reviews and instead wait for reviews from reviewers that match your gaming preference.
A very good read about what a review really is and how too many people don't come up with their own opinions and focus too much on the final score.
If anyone can challenge Blizzard in the MMO market, it would have to be Bioware. Their track record when it comes to games is almost on par with Blizzard.
Though when it comes to storyline I would have to give the edge to Bioware.
I hope the combat is handled similar to how it was done in Kotor.
definitly have to get this one
I gave the x360 version a rent over the weekend and while the game wasn't ground breaking I still had fun experience with Legendary.
Sad to hear, while I wasn't a big fan of the TimeSplitters series or Haze. My thoughts still go out to all everyone let go, espically at this time of the year.
