I loved the SP demo myself, and can't comment on the MP demo as I didn't bother downloading it.
Enjoyable hack and slash game. Though it's almost an understatement to call this game massive. While you can technically beat the game in under 30 hours. That's only if you don't explore much and don't bother with the side missions.
The majority of the side missions are pretty generic (go here and kill 10 things or collect information). There are a few twisted gems hidden in the game.
With my favorite was framing someone for murder after not being paid my promised r...
I picked up inFamous yesterday, though I'm going to wait in till the weekend before giving it a try (I should be done Velvet Assassin by then).
With Infamous, Red Faction and Prototype all coming out in the next few weeks. I'm going to be going through open-world overload. Not to mention that I still have to finish up Sacred 2 (30 hours in and half-way through the campaign).
So much for a slow summer.
... yes that I like games
good review, sounds like it will make an awesome rental, next time I need an FPS fix.
While I haven't played the first expansion yet (no time), I might end up picking up both games this fall and give myself another GTA4 fix.
easier access ;)
Thought I doubt I will be picking up the new Tony Hawk, as I have never been a fan of the series.
It is a smart decision as games that require a peripheral seem to be a selling point with consumers. Thanks to Guitar Hero and the Wii.
A little more amusing than usual as feel somewhat the same way about JPRGS.
but why did they have to change her look so drastically?
the rest of the changes done by the mod, basically enhance the existing game artwork/textures.
in the end I guess it's a matter of choice, if you don't like her new look don't download the mod.
while I haven't played WKC so I can't rule out if it will be the best or not. The title of this article should have been "White Knight Chronicles Will Best the Current JRPG Lineup". As the authors list is completely WRPG free.
Personally it will probably come to no surprise that I prefer WRPGs to the JRPGs.
JRPG (so far) : Tales of Vesperia
WRPG (so far) : Mass Effect
interesting comparison, thought except for some of the texture work images I prefer the original artwork to the cinematic mod.
Espically when it comes to Alyx, who goes from girl-next-door (original) to possible escort (cinematic mod)
Definitely picking up this game for the long weekend. I've been waiting for this type of hack and slash game for awhile (one of the genre I miss back from my PC gaming days).
Every game sounds boring using that logic. MW2 looks boring because all you do is shoot people to death and so on.
good review, I'll definitly be picking up this game sometime over the next few months.
Maybe day-one as I am thinking of trading in Killzone 2 for Infamous. As I am not really a deathmatch/multiplayer gamer and after playing through Killzone 2's campaign twice. I doubt I will go through it again a third time.
Oh and for the people dissing x360 for no reason in the "Gamer Zone" welcome to my ignore list ;)
It's a matter of preference when it comes to which console had a better launch. Though there is error in your post, Uncharted didn't come out at launch.
Interesting list my favorites are as follows:
1. KOTOR
2. KOTOR2
3. Tie Fighter
4. Dark Forces 2
Interesting I just picked up the game at GameStop for $8.99 over the weekend. It was part of my cheap-but-good-games gift for a friends birthday.
while I tried VC and wasn't a big fan, I am glad to see the game selling well.
Interesting but I'm going to pass, even though I have a good chance at winning the contest.
I have enough websites on my plate and I've already promised a friend to have his website up in a few days ( http://www.latuns.com/music... )
