Amazing pictures, I'm more stoked for Mass Effect 2 than I was for Mass Effect. Definitely one of the best storylines for any game series to date.
Good news I guess as I would rather play HL2: Episode 3 than L4D2.
Looks like January is going to be a hot release month next year, though I am still unsure if I'm going to pick up MAG. As I am not big on online gameplay.
smart move, and I think more developers should go this route. If anything it will also improve the used game market by making it harder for GameStop to sell used games for $5 to $10 dollars cheaper.
I had doubts that Risen would be released this year, but it's looking more and more likely. Espically with Australia already banning the game.
Hard to say, since it really depends on the developer/publisher. Some overcharge for minor additions while others spends months creating additions that add hours of playability to their game.
Just finished the game, and it's definitly one of my favorite FPS this year (so far). It makes me want to go back and play the first Call of Juarez so I can continue the storyline.
I find it interesting that all the games I'm looking forward to this Fall are all multiplatform titles and two them are published by EA.
Brutal Legend, Dragon Age, and Alpha Protocol
Doubtful that GT5 will be released that late in December.
With a rare exception a late December release date means that the game is either going to be bad (which is doubtful) or about to be pushed back even further into next year.
Most likely it's Amazon hoping to get a few more GT pre-orders by placing the game's release date in 2009.
I still haven't played Prototype or Bound in Blood yet, but it seems like good reviews for both.
I definitly agree with the Damnation score (though it looks a tad high). It was one of the worse games I've played this year.
After the brilliant Max Payne, Remedy deserve to take all the time that they want. As for all the comments about graphics, I'd rather the graphics take a hit then play a half-finished game
KOTOR was definitly one of best plot twists of any game. I actually changed my alignment (to the dark side) after the plot twist.
I for one didn't expect that plot twist.
The top 5 titles I am looking forward to are:
Borderlands
Alpha Protocol
Modern Warfare 2
Dragon Age
Brutal Legend
While I am not a big achievement or trophy whore. I do find some achievements amusing and try to finish the fun ones (ie killing 100 EDF troops with your hammer in Red Faction)
One of my favorites is the Fallout3 achievement you get when you place an active grenade secretly on someone.
pointless article from a pointless source
I agree and beside being a tad disappointed in Too Human. Silicon Knights is still one of my favorite developers.
If you go back far enough, every single day on the calendar had something horrible happen on it.
Actually aside from Dragon Age, Brutal Legend is my most look forward to game this year.
While not a big of Jack Black. I am a huge fan of Tim Schafer and Psychohauts was one of my favorite games last gen.
I hope Activision isn't successful with it's lawsuit. As it sets a bad precedent by allowing game publishers to drop a game and then sue anyone else trying to publish the game.
Surprising I'm still using XP and a web developer, though I haven't complained about IE6, I would prefer not having to make my sites IE6 compatible but if people are still using what can you do.
