shame I was really looking forward to playing Alpha Protocol this year, hopefully the delay adds a bit more polish to the game.
Though knowing the publisher (SEGA) it might have only been delayed in hopes of getting a few more sales during next year.
... that and it's an Xbox 360 game, which is an automatic oh my god that reviewer is bias
I used to be a huge Nine Inch Nails fan but that changed when my musical tastes changed. I have nothing but respect for the man, no matter what is video game preferences are.
Though I'm guessing for Sony fanboys he's just someone new they can make fun.
horrible as always... nothing like changing Alyx from a healthy girl next door to an anorexic stick figure... that wears too much makeup
Knowing Hollywood they would rather pick a more famous actor for Nathan and I hope they don't go with Benjamin Bratt as I find him to be a terrible actor.
I haven't had a chance to play ODST yet, but based on the article the main storyline appeals more to me than storyline of Halo 3. Which didn't answer enough questions about the series' back story.
I just wish fanboys had the same class that developers do.
Why not just rent it then, play the demo for a weekend and not have to deal with owning two copies of the same game.
Personally I'll probably pick up the Collection as my PS2 died just before God of War 2 came out and I've been waiting to play it for awhile.
@EvoAnubis True Enough
fun little co-op game to play, espically if your friends like zombies
I hope they make a new title in the series. The humor was great and it was one of the first games I ever bought on CD (Under a Killing Moon).
Tempting as I still have my original non-dualshock PS3 controller. Though with so many games coming out next month, I'll probably wait in till the new year to pick up a second controller.
Maybe it's me but from what I understand about Alpha Protocol. You can go the action route and play it like a third person shooter. Or you can work on your sneak/dialog abilities and avoid combat all together.
In any case I'm looking forward to try the game out and it's definitly on my list as a possible GOTY (giving Obsidian's ability to tell an amazing story).
Good preview, Gearbox is a great developer and I hope their game sells well. As October is going to be a killer for many wallets.
It's stupid to count out any game developer from producing a possible GOTY. Sure the majority of Wii titles are shovelware there are still a few gems like "World of Goo"
Not a bad expansion for fans of the fear series. Though it is definitly short and can be beaten in one sitting.
While not a big fan of current gen versions of Ninja Gaiden. I did love the series back during the NES days.
So after reading the review, the only differences between the x360 and PS3 versions is improved visuals and one has gore while the other has boob jiggle.
Not a bad list overall, though there are a few games that I enjoyed more than some of choices on the list.
+ Infamous
+ Fear 2
+ Sacred 2
This is news why, most game developers play each others games.
It's nice to see not every game developer jumping on the zombie bandwagon. Though I'm sure Treyarch will have zombie of vampire mode for next years COD.
Neat little extra for the PC version. Though due to my profession (and how much time I already spend on my computer) I'll be sticking to console version and I haven't decided on either the X360 or PS3 version yet.
