Claims the Japanese market is a joke, clings onto his PS4 and all of its JRPGs hoping it'll give him a hug back.
If you don't like the style that's fine. My dad also really dislikes Nintendo's cartoons look but I let him play Zelda yesterday and now I can't get my switch out of his hands. He's 60.
And when did you play Splatoon 2 just out of interest?
If there's been any downgrade, it's in the intelligence of humanity. The scenes are different, the lighting is different, the suit has a different texture and there's different levels of motion blur applied to both versions. If anything, the 2017 footage looks cleaner.
Provided this is plays as Spider-Man 2 from back in the day, were onto a winner. If we get something that's a little more like Sunset Overdrive with Spider-Man acrobatics then I'll also be...
Meh, the guys been remaking the exact same game for 20 years. He doesn't really have a leg to stand on with regards to Nintendo's lack of thinking. As for advertising, I'm pretty sure Nintendo have given most games a branded trailer on the run up to their release on the Switch.
This article has a really weird abrupt end and little to no explanation as to why we should all agree with the author or even try to see his point of view. I don't want the same game reskinned every generation and yes we've had a lot of sequels but we are seeing advances in AI, physics and world building which just weren't possible on the previous generation. And ignoring the contribution from independent developers with regards to moving the medium forward is just short sighted. ...
I own all of them and at this point I'm more interested in buying for my Switch as opposed to either my Xbox or PS4. Maybe it's cos it's new n shiny but there's not much on the horizon for either of the other two that's interesting me at the moment. I'm loving the portability of the Switch and take it round my mates whenever were having a gaming night n the other consoles don't get a look in unless it's FIFA or Rocket League. There's just so much fun to be ...
Bullshit. Xbox isn't a company and neither are PlayStation both are divisions of MS and Sony respectively and MS have considerably more money than Sony. If it wasn't for the PS, Sony would be screwed as none of their other divisions are doing well at all. Users though - yeah it's destroying MS but it doesn't stop me enjoying both systems.
It'll be interesting to see what potential exclusive content RDR2 gets as at the moment it's just being touted as...

Well when you fire up the beta, it sits there on the same menu as arcade and campaign etc. Yes it's a standalone online service but it's still included in the package.
GT Sport and GT7 are the same game. GT Sport is the name of the online portion.
Shit graphics is maybe a slight over judgement in my opinion but watching this after having played on a base PS4 there are definitely some large differences between both versions. For one, the lighting model is considerably better on the Pro. My biggest problem with it was the impact model as most people were using the crash barriers to hurtle round the corners on the Blue Moon Speedway with little noticeable slowdown.
Edit: oh and the servers kept falling over. Beta or not...
I was a pretty clean driver but I saw plenty of others with cosmetic damage but it was no more than chipped paintwork.
US price - $300
AU price - $470
Canadian price - $399
Try again. And before you say "oh but you need a memory card, a pro controller, a case and a screen protector" no you don't. These are all optional. You also forget that the switch comes with two controllers as part of the bundled hardware.
Edit: before i get called a Nintendo apologist or whatever the term of the month is, I'm also lucky enough to own a PS4, PSVR a...
Might be the launch date for the EU beta seeing as it's NA only at the moment.
You need to be close and hit them with a few at either side to keep them pinned. I struggled.with it to begin with but got it after a while. 2-4 usually pulls one to the ground.
He has a point about the AI, it's really stupid but the rest are nitpicking. It's a great game, but I am already swamped with icons, I've tried off the HD so I can keep focussed.
A valiant effort but they're gonna have to do it at various points throughout the game. I generally agree that it's the parent/adults place to make sure they aren't accessing inappropriate content, but when they inevitably get their hands on it, they need make sure the child understands the difference between game and reality. My dad never stopped me from watching things like Robocop as a kid (the original) I even got to enjoy Conan and Red Sonia way before I was of the right age ...
And that's why I said even if there's on 4 or 5 games you really want to play your likely to still be up on the deal, especially if you cancel. After a month. I get your point though, if you own the discount you can go back whenever if you keep everything you buy. I used to have a largish retro collection but it was gathering dust so I traded it for a ps4. I'm less sentimental unless they're limited editions.
Each to their own I guess but I can't help but feel buying cheap on eBay could work out way more expensive than using this service. Even if there are only 4 or 5 games from the first 100 available that you want to play, paying your $10/£8 is gonna work out cheaper for even a one month sub than buying disc copies of those same titles. Even factoring in trade ins, it would be more expensive.
On a side note how many of the games do we think will be b/c version of 360...
Why have nunchucks when you can have a kusarigama! I did love NG but Nioh has been great so far.
It's a sign to wait with a lot of singleplayer content, but not so much with a game which is primarily multiplayer. We used to complain that reviewers were invited to review events and had been paid to review games well, now we complain that they have to wait until they've played it in the wild. For most people, if they were gonna buy it day one, they will regardless of reviews. Some people are on the fence so will have to wait a few days to see someone else impressions or like me, wa...
Makes great news comparing it with a combined Xbox and Wii U. Swap out the Wii U for the Switch and the gap wouldn't be as big but that's a less interesting story isn't it...
