I took part in the alpha and the beta and I've seen no improvement. I get that they seem to be going for the more realistic side of extreme sports but it makes for a rather bland experience. There was no sense of speed or danger and tricks were frustrating.
I did like the ability to change equipment on the fly and the deformable snow tech looked impressive but overall it didn't do it for me.
HP and TFLOPS are theoretical numbers in perfect conditions. Whilst HP can determine a top speed other factor such as tyre compound, fuel and drag in the real world actually reduce the maximum speed you can achieve in the same way cache speeds, processor speeds, drive R/W speeds and more all impact the final output of a computational device.

Dunno why you're getting disagrees. You just feed the Xbox HDMI through the box instead of the PS4 and you can play in cinema mode. Pictures not as good as a TV but it's pretty cool playing on the largest display size cos it's like being in the cinema.

Played through the whole demo several times on Xbox and didn't get a single one of these bugs.
Which is hilarious cos COD has pretty much stolen all of their traversal mechanics but doesn't do them as well.

I was gonna say streets of rage but it would need a complete reimagining. I would play it if they could get something out the door that played like Yakuza.
I'm maybe reading into it too much but the recent collectors editions not launching with the game leads me to believe publishers are releasing these so we can then buy the version we want rather than tying stock up in a version that may not sell as well.
Provided the content is value for money I don't see a problem doing it this way. There's also people who want the collectables but don't want the game and it allows them to stock it in a lot of other stores...
It looks nice regardless of what machine you buy it for. Character models are nice but I still feel the world lacks the detail we saw in The Witcher 3 or at least it does in the demo area. Need to wait and see what else we get as we progress further into it.
They did it with Battlefield 1 as well, this isn't new to EA.
Still a useless article if you own both as they're both different types of game. Personally I'm giving DR4 a miss as I haven't enjoyed the others and it's dropped coop and I bought TLG on Tuesday. So far, TLG has been amazing and the technical issues haven't affected my experience in any way (they're there, but hey haven't bothered me). If you have even a little love for animals, it's easy to fall in love with Trico.
