Great little game. I played as much of the demo as I could. The only complaints I have are that it's easy to cheese a lot of the fights with boost points and most of the enemies have insane HP. Other than that the graphics are nice if a little muddy. Saying that though, some of the larger enemies are nicely detailed and we'll animated.
With the reduced amount of voice acting in most Nintendo titles, I'm not surprised they can keep the file sizes so small. By not needing to include multiple languages (except for text) they can keep them trim.
Glad I saw this cos I was actually wondering how much space it would fill. Definitely going digital with Mario Odyssey.
Also, I don't think you know what indie means. Indie devs are those who choose to self publish. Do you like Rocket League? PUBG? Elite: Dangerous? Star Citizen? Portal? The list goes on. (I know portal isn't technically indie, but the idea was formed by an independent team, then Valve bought it).
Indie =/= poor quality. Just because it's not your preference regarding graphical style don't write it off. Some of the biggest games released by big publishers are...
The only drawback is when it leaves 1 cent/penny in the account as you can't change regions if there's a balance on there. Other than that, yes, totally worth it. I save a decent amount buying cards from Play-Asia and buying from the US store as opposed to the UK.
No because we've already had 4 (not including DLC) excellent stories that just won't have justice done to them on the big screen. At worst I fear it'll be Tomb Raider with a guy who's nowhere near as likeable as PS4 Drake.
There's a group of nine of us that used to play Destiny together all the time. We've met despite being from all over the UK and we're all in contact almost every day of the week through WhatsApp so yeah, I'd say online friends can be actual friends.
I've been enjoying it so far. Without combat it would just be another Dear Esther or EGTTR - not knocking these games, EGTTR is a fantastic, emotional experience. The combat does appear to be there for story reasons though and I've interpreted it as Senua fighting her inner demons. Without it, I doubt it would have been a better game.
Or maybe, and here's a thought, it's the publisher/producer that wants microtranstactions like it is in almost all cases and the Dev has little to no say in the matter. They've gotta find a way to make sure their investment makes them some money if it doesn't sell well! Microtranstactions can be a terrible thing if they have the ability to affect others enjoyment of a game and the ones in SoW look worse than most. I'm sick of everyone pointing the finger at the devs who wo...
Just googled it...

There's lots of it...
On topic. Gaming has always been in the spotlight as there are people who don't understand it, don't want to under it and would rather blame something for the world's problems rather than just accept that humans can be assholes to each other. Always have been, always will be....
@DialgaMarine I can get on board with you with regards to them potentially withholding stock, but the "one major system seller for the rest of the year" is a bit weak though. For those who don't have the Switch yet there are already 2 system sellers in Zelda and Mario Kart that will still be available once there's stock (we don't just pretend they don't count cos they're old), Splatoon 2 seems extremely popular and we have Mario on the way. If we get to November ...
Yup started getting messages off the same person a few days ago. I checked the profile like I always do with randoms n it has zero activity. Reported!
Aye but they don't count /s
Ha everybody's golf and knack 2. I can already see the queues round the block waiting for those two games. GT Sport will sell purely due to the fact its GT. There's already more games in early access or coming as a console launch exclusive to the Xbox that I'm interested in. Battlegrounds and Hello Neighbour to name only two. Doesn't mean the PS4 is a crap machine, there's just less appealing content.
Lionhead were a shell of their former selves and Fable Legends was terrible (I know, I was a tester). SoT shows so much potential that I really hope Rare have a hit on their hands (again I'm a tester and it's looking and feeling so good) if only to put their name on the map again.
I don't understand why people say MS threw Lionhead under the bus when what they were working on just wasn't very good. Did you expect them to keep throwing money at a bad project ...
No but having all the toys means I don't have to rather than blindly following one provider and potentially missing something great. Try expanding your horizons some time, there's loads of great stuff out there on every system.
"X+5=3 P+50=30"
30-the ones I don't want to play = 2
See I can be clever too. Get your head outta your ass and realise that just because there's more of something, doesn't mean it's more valuable to everyone. Quantity does not equal quality. I could release 50 exclusive games on the Xbox using nothing but shitty Unity assets, doesn't meant you want to play them all.
It's all down to personal choice. I...
Worst thing is, I was pretty sure the new "rules" were meant to be stamping out this kinda stuff. It's great that it generates clicks and repeat traffic to N4Gs forums but surely this continual arguing is getting tiring for everyone?
I like this site because it's a one stop shop for the news that some of the major sites don't report on or are late to report, but the continual opinion pieces disguised as news as getting old cos it's always the same ...
@ModiJi
We'll remember that when Ni No Kuni 2 launches. Ni No Kuni looks great by the way, I'm just trying to prove a point that it's not a "poor" art style.
I wasn't impressed with the beta but I can see why people will enjoy it. To me, the movement felt sluggish but the shooting was as solid as ever. Bonus is I don't have to worry about buying it cos me n my mate console share and he's already bought it, so I have a copy waiting for me when it's released.
It's not something that's essential, but I'd rather have a larger pool of players to play with rather than the current split. For games that don't have a massive player base it would prevent them from completely dying on their arse if all platforms could play together. I can understand that some of the current content exclusivity deals could cause issues though.
