Also I think I misunderstood your actual point. It seems you were having a dig at BF2 and the fact that the boycott has done very little to affect sales. So you can ignore my other comments if you think I was having a go. My bad.
Do you know what MS predictions were?
Do we know how much it's actually sold after a week? All we've seen is it had 1m players within the first 48 hours. To be sitting 4th behind the juggernaughts that are CoD, FIFA and something that's sold purely because it has star Wars in the title, its good going.
Also, you do realise that this is one sales region, not worldwide and only includes physical sales right?
Stop trying to piss on the p...
UK charts only include boxed/digital code purchases from stores. Everyone I know has bought directly from the Xbox store and as other "articles" have shown (as well as the leaderboards) a lot of people have bought it or at least tried it. I've been playing for a week and there's no lack of players so it's clearly popular on Xbox.
The bigger story here is that Nintendo have more exclusives in the top 40 (7 titles - 5 on switch, 2 on 3DS) than Sony (4) a...
It's had a "physical" release in the UK but really all you're getting is a code in a box. Even the supermarkets here are pushing it as are stores like Argos. Everyone jumping on the bandwagon. No doubt it's the same worldwide. I'm aware it's in preview but I do feel the way some of these places are marketing it is gonna have people convinced it's a final release and some are gonna be disappointed.
All sequels or part of a franchise that have been going for 20-30 years. They all have the benefit of previous experience from the gaming world's player base. And if Skyrim had 10m pre-orders, I'd be disappointed if I was Bethesda because it's taken 6 years to sell 22.5m copies and PUBG has shifted 25m copies in 8 months. 1 million players in 48 hours is an impressive number for a game that's apparently shite.
I'm playing on an S. It's "fine" in as far as I can navigate the environment, I can shoot at folk and complete all the expected actions available in the game. What isn't fine are the constant crashes to the dashboard. Shooting from a vehicle? Forget about it, no chance.
However, I'm aware it's early access and things will improve. It's very playable and it's very fun.
These articles are fucking hilarious. If Sony had paid the money for it, would we be seeing so many? I'm not defending the practice of buying 3rd party early access exclusives but the shit storm in every one of these articles is comical. If it doesn't come to PS4 apparently nobody will care cos "Fortnite is better". Still won't prevent the inevitable "MS are cunts, and PUBG is shit anyways" articles.
And the performance - oh no, an unfinished...
According to the article, it was ripped and uploaded to megashare in October of this year and the link was at the bottom of the page.

Yeah I know, but it's a shame we have to choose between the two - immersive combat with full motion control or move like normal. RE7s fine with the DS for movement etc, but it's pace lent to the control scheme even if it was a little clunky trying to turn at times (saying that, it did heighten the tension).
Each to their own, but it's disappointing that if you choose to play with the move controllers then your movement ability is ham...
Aye, I've never understood why they never allowed the analogue attachment to be used with the PSVR or even updated the move controllers as you said.
PSVR is a great bit of kit let down by the occasional tracking issues and the controllers severely limit some of the titles that can be ported to VR. I like how immersive Skyrim looks but by all accounts it's been made easier due to the controls. Teleportation instead of standard movement looks to remove some of the imm...

The matchmaking is so far off that you either get your ass kicked or you destroy the other team. Very occasionally you get a balanced match. We've found wild variances in the opponent's we're given depending on fireteam leader. 3 of us will always guarantee a hard fight, the other guy usually sees us get an easy ride and we're all at the same light level.
Trials is meant to be difficult, it shouldn't be easy to go flawless an...
Aye the carnival platform sections are pretty sick. The bosses have required quite a few restarts to learn the patterns and once you get those sorted it becomes a little easier. It's usually me not watching or following projectiles that gets me hit. Managed to A+ the first island, the seconds been tougher. Hated that rollercoaster guy!
For a freebie it's been brilliant. Played it all weekend. Got our first squad win earlier.
I'm in the same boat, got a good pile of stuff to play at the moment. Bought The Binding of Isaac and Steamworld the other day. Didn't play the first bit really enjoying the 2nd and Isaac is kicking my baws. Pay day tomorrow but I need to resist buying more stuff!
It's harking back to games like Contra and has a beautiful aesthetic. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm cautiously optimistic.
Thimbleweed Park is excellent. Played through it on Xbox and had a blast. Really enjoying Steamworld Dig 2 as well. So far, I've had more than enough to play on my Switch. My Xbox on the other hand... If my may hadn't bought Destiny (we console share) it'd be sitting gathering dust until Cuphead next week as there's not been much else worth playing.
@FullmetalRoyale
So far, so awesome! Really reminds me of DigDug but way better and with way more mechanics.
Aye, made some pretty valid points. Nintendo and the devs/publishers are often in a no win situation with some people. Tell everyone what's missing and some will say "ha, told you! Inferior port!" Don't tell them and they get accused of obfuscating the details.
Only thing I didn't agree with was that EA have been very upfront about FIFA not running on Frostbite and they were cited as one company not being totally upfront with the end user. In fact the...
The one thing I would say is that it needs the one hour trial like almost every other preview games on the Xbox store. They likely know that the current issues would put a lot of people off buying so I'm kinda not surprised there isn't one. It's not for everyone, it's not perfect and I get frustrated at the crashes to the dashboard but the fun I've had with it has far outweighed any gripes I might harbour. However, I think every dev out there would bite you're hand off...
