You can be harassed online, sexual or otherwise.
If you think you can't, you're probably too mentally childish to be a grown up. Or you've got autism and you actually don't understand how feelings work.
Pretty much hit the nail on the head. If the campaign made you feel sad or uncomfortable then it did its job. I personally thought it was pretty good. Pretty basic formula for the first few acts and the start had more of an impact than the rest of the stories, but it did a good job of conveying some of the horrors and the heroes of the war.
@Kallisti wow, that's pretty ridiculous! I dread to think what a new release costs never mind the hardware.
I agree, when the remaster bundles a load of additional content as well as a healthy boost in visuals then it can get away with charging around £40. The digital remaster of Skyrim on the Xbox store takes the piss at £50 so I picked up a boxed copy for £35 and feel it's worth that asking price. The Bioshock collection for £40 is also a good deal from what I've heard as to all games plus DLC and you'd probably struggle to buy all that for £40 if you picked u...
I didn't find The DC demo to be quite as horrendous as everyone's been saying. Yes it's not as crisp at distance but it was still easy enough to follow the track and that itself made braking and cornering a hell of a lot easier. It's a shame the VR experiences are tacked on but I am interested in having a look at TrackMania when it launches its VR mode. Could be whitey inducing though.
If it's proven to give a tangible improvement to VR fidelity I may upgrade my current PS4 to a Pro but the lack of a 4K TV is putting me off just now. Having a One S and a PS4 though it shouldn't be too long til I upgrade even if it's only to see HDR shine.
It's the price of entry that puts off most people I know and that's generally because if they're buying "the best" they want the best and a beefy rig doesn't come cheap. I loved gaming on the PC back in the day but I know I can't control myself and would be buying a new piece of hardware every time I knew I could get better. That's what I did before and I'm suffering for it now!
£250 for a console is a softer blow even though the m...
By throwing everything including the kitchen sink at it. The PC gets performance through brute force but that doesn't always work - see Batman.
Haha cheap gamers. Console gamers pay for online and pay more for games. Yes, PC hardware is more expensive but with every new game release comes the PC crowd and there "I'll wait til it's in the steam sale" chat. Pot meet kettle...
Just dropped £500 on one with a selection of games. Shame I didn't wait a few more days and save a few quid but me n Amazon don't get one so to be honest I'm glad I bought mine from my local independent store. Even managed to avoid buying it from Game!
Having finally got my PSVR and set it up I gave the Kitchen demo a go. Did not disappoint. It made me scream like a little girl and then I spent a good few seconds looking at the floor trying to pull myself together. Really well done, shame I need to pack it all up and put it away for Christmas :(
Edit: spelling
No they're not I've been playing since 6pm UK time.
And you'll still get accused of being a fanboy next time you comment on an MS or Sony article cos N4G doesn't care for stats or proof.
Or more than likely, it'll be listed but will have the caveat of *bundle only like we've seen with other titles.
Nonsense it's far from unplayable. I've already finished Arkham Asylum and yes it's a bit janky and the frame rate dips every now and again on Xbox but that's it. Arkham City feels far more stable from what I've played of that. It's not 60fps but it's also now running on U4 not U3 so it's more demanding on the systems in question.
The textures and lighting are better but It's still the same old clunky geometry. I watched the outside Xbox video the other day and went from instant buy to meh, maybe later. I didn't expect a revolution but I hoped for better than this. But then again it was the same issue with Fallout 4 so I probably expected too much. Maybe when I see some supported mods I might jump back in.
Saw Horizon running on a Pro at PS event and it did look beautiful. With HDR the colours really popped out as well. There was a little softness to the image but I was about 4ft away from the TV at normal couch distance I don't think it will be that noticeable. It's going to be interesting to see how Scorpio compares when it releases next year but if you want a 4K fix right now it's not looking like a bad choice. It's shame I've just spanked £400 on a PS VR, now to wai...
As a VR sceptic I went into my PS VR demo expecting disappointment, but after tempering my expectations whilst trying it I was really impressed with it. I've raved about Valkyrie and my mate been raving about Farpoint. I'm currently trying to convince the Mrs it's worth the £500 investment but she's not for having it.
@zb1ftw777
It's folk like you that give us normal Xbox fans a bad name, especially when its uninformed, blind, bullshit!
The xbox has as many indies as PS4, but less of them are high profile. We also have the preview program which is introducing even more indie titles to the console.
Both consoles essentially offer the same experience from 3rd parties and diversify with exclusives. There are some outstanding PS titles I've enjoy...
It's easy to change and you don't need a Japanese XBL account. Just go to settings on the console and change the region to Japan, restart the console, go to the store and find demos near the bottom and you're set. 14.4GB download.
Entirely in Japanese as expected, but it's easy to follow what's going on and the tutorial section does a good job of explaining the controls. Story? No idea!
I was on the fence, but I'm tempted by this ...
