Right now I'd go for the Wii U first because it has the best exclusives, and looks like it's getting even more great exclusives down the line (X, MK8, Smash Bros.). And it's cheap.
Then PS4 because it's getting most of the multiplats and has great exclusives.
Then Xbox One for TitanFall and the inevitable Halo game.
What do you think of X? It looks great, doesn't it?
Although the comments on N4G make the decision whether to keep comments harder, I believe they should stay (even if people can say stupid things at times).
Nintendo used to have the most powerful consoles, the NES, SNES, N64 were all the most powerful, and the GameCube was a close second.
Whatever they could have shown then will be shown later, and the games will be further on in development, so they'll have more to show.
VGX was terrible anyway, Nintendo didn't even need to attend.
Yes, deafdani is correct.
I think the Wii U sold 400 thousand on its first day, and around three million by the end of its first month.
Pretty much every Zelda game is a reboot of the series. They're all pretty different.
Yes, I believe it turns on with the power button and displays the update's completion percentage.
If you want the game to come to other systems then you're taking some of it's exclusive support and making it an even harder sell. Every time a good exclusive comes around to a Nintendo console the fans on other consoles try to ruin its exclusivity (see Rayman Legends), and hurt the console's sales.
Nintendo doesn't really do DLC.
They have for a few games (two or three), but I doubt Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS will have DLC.
The average person would at least first try turning it on normally.
The only thing I'm worried about is the horribly cliche Mexican theme. It's trying way too hard to be Mexican.
Sounds great if true.
What, because it can't be turned on using kinect while it's updating?
Hardly a mess.
They're still working on it, and the servers are being destroyed by the traffic right now. These are the servers that were previously handling about 4 million Wii U owners, now they've got 35 million 3DS users added to that.
If I remember correctly, when the Wii U launched there were server issues as well.
You can't send friend requests on 3DS Miiverse.
It's a tad overprotective if you ask me.
I thought everyone knew what the Wii U was, but just yesterday one of my friends (who is interested in buying a Wii U) asked me if it was a new console.
I thought he would know, after all, he played it at my house multiple times..
I just. I don't. I don't even. This really needs to be fixed.
I said necessarily..
I can't think of a better way than Nintendo Directs to preach to those other than the choir.
If you aren't going to hear the news from a Nintendo Direct in some way or another, then there's no reason why you would hear it (or care) if it was sent out in a different format (like how a Sony fan doesn't necessarily tune into Microsoft's E3 presentation).
I haven't got it yet. Hoping to get it for Christmas. I hope this is what everyone else is thinking.
