people need to lighten up and play this game like a hack n slash dungeon crawler like Diablo and stop trying to play it like god of war. i think a big part of the problem is that consoles have never seen a game like this really and people don't know what to think.

most of the previews are positive. before haze was released there was a bizarre, unsettling, dismissive silence from critics. at least this game has sparked enough passion in critics to speak out in big numbers.

Shane Bettenhousen from 1UP.com said it! It's really just wishful thinking that Square has yet another title in the works. They have yet to release one new FF title on the PS3 or 360 this generation. It would be dumb to start work on yet another title. Of course, this is a company that went bankrupt once and seems to fly in the face of smart business practice.
my guess is that FF13 is coming out this year in time for holiday season.
With all the projects that Square-Enix has taken on I doubt they're working on another title.
Americans don't care about where something is made. We buy more Japanese cars, Chinese products, more Wii's, and back in the day we even bought more PS2's.
We buy things for two reaons: quality and price. Also, because of our lack of loyalty to US made products and our wealth the US is a good barometer for how the world market and Europe will trend.

That with all the hype surrounding the Wii that the X360 is outselling it in regards to software on a regular basis in North America.
This price cut will pretty much wipe away any gains that the PS3 made over the last couple months in North America.
they dropped the price of the 20gb 360 by $50 to phase them out.
These numbers aren't a huge surprise. The X360 is still the console to buy besides the Wii in North America despite recent gains by the PS3.

As a PC/360 gamer it cheers me up to see all the Sony fanboys extolling the virtues of the PC so they can play awesome X360 console exclusives like Mass Effect.

unorthodox at times but fine. you can hit one button and it resets the camera directly behind you.
i'm glad they didn't map the camera to the analog like every single other game. it makes the game more interesting so i can concentrate on the action more than adjusting the camera every 10 seconds because a of a lazy dev.
I'm not saying Resistance 2 will end up not being a good game. I'm saying the graphics look average compared to Gears of War 2. Whether it was a mistake or not, those indoor textures were pretty bad. This comparison is just manufactured by Sony so that PS3 owners don't feel left out this November. Gears of War 2 will be awesome. Nobody who owns both consoles is going to buy Resistance 2 instead of buying Gears of War 2 unless they have a mental defect

I mean, how many times did you die in this demo? I died like 3 times my first run through the demo and once the second time. If you're dying enough in this game where a 15 second animation bugs you then maybe you should quit video games altogether.
However, in its current state PSN is missing functions that Xbox live had at launch. I just don't see PSN catching up to Xbox live anytime soon. Microsoft is just much quicker about improving their service. They introduce a whole new dashboard with avatars at E3 '08. It's coming this Fall. Sony introduced Home last year.
