They've stated max game mode will be 12 v 12. They haven't stated what modes those will be, but still 24 players max. That isn't a disappointment, as the old battlefronts had limited player counts with bots. Trust me when I say back then, it took nothing away from the experience.
No final fantasy that I can remember has come out on its original release date. They always get delayed, but often suffer less bugs... So I'm happy to wait.
It was 6 or so years in. I had it fixed, work for a week then died again. No biggie, just had some unfinished business on that platform.
Actually my launch PS3 died in the middle of me playing final fantasy 13... So yeah I would at least like to finish that. I never got to play uncharted 3, or infamous 2 either. I know there's playstation now, but the prices just don't seem worth it to me.
The trailer ace linked above says, "coming 2015". Regardless im just happy its getting a sequel. I did like the first one, even with its deficiencies.
Yes constantly evolving tech will never overtake static tech... whos your dealer and how much for his stuff? Because it sounds like its pretty good.
Wow, coming 2015? Ive been waiting for a sequel. How did I not catch wind of this?
Steam-7.1MBs stable
xbox live -7.1MBs stable
ps plus on ps4- fluctuates between 500k-3 MBs
just my experience though.
I'm excited for fallout 4, as most are. But I agree, every elder scrolls, and fallout game has come out with tons of bugs and glitches. I will wait for a goty edition.
On a side note,, I love that fallout 4 uses the same old, tired, dx9 engine. But everyone's quick to point out when yearly games are released without new engines. It's been years since Bethesda even bothered making a new engine, and they never get called out.
Subjective question, with subjective answers. There are games and companies that definitely try and take advantage of gamers. There's definitely gamers that fall in to their trap. Then there's people that pay excessive amounts for games, but play them enough to make them personally feel like they got their money's worth. So it all depends.
Im not saying run out an by it day 1. Infact I encourage everyone to never do that. No game works properly for the first week to month nowadays. Especially the multi player components.
as for the hate on EA, ive been there. After madden 95 I refused to buy anoyher ea game... until bf3, which was horribly botched. Worse in my opinion than 4.
youve pbviously made up your mind that you hate the game, the studio thats developing it, and the company thats pro...
Every battlefront article I've read recently, has you bashing it. We knew there would be changes, and im sure most know that they will like some changes, and dislike others. Its not the same battlefront, and as neither you, nor I have played it, why dont we save the scepticism for after reviews are out and weve played it.
I personally am liking the fact that they are purposely not trying to clone another game and reskin it as star wars. But if you feel so passionately...
It's nothing like battlefield. As a huge battlefield fan I don't understand the comparisons. Battlefield has 64 real players duking it out over control points on a map, has specialized classes to build squads with roles that compliment each other. Battlefield is about team work.
This has been shown to be an Arcady shooter, similar to the old battlefronts. Has only 24 players with bots filling out the rest. Has no specific roles, most weapons are pickups. It has a...
Seriously not tryibg to troll here, but honest question for the people that love the game... what is honestly so great about this game?
Im a huge fan of gran turismo, and forza games. This has an awkward progression system, you can not tweak and customize cars beyond paint jobs, the car physics are shotty if not down right horrible, most of the content is locked behind paid dlc, the 30fps kills the experience for me. I can go on, but there is no need. The graphics on t...
That does paint a vivid picture.
I do find it funny, people are outraged by activision using the same engine in cod over and over again. But bethesda wont step away from a dx9 engine, and its "ok" because its not about the graphics.
I love elder scrolls, and fallout, but to give bethesda a pass on this is getting a little old. Especially when every other developer gets called out on here.
@joab77
Yes. How dare a money paying consumer complain, and get frustrated. They shouldnt be allowed to complain about a product that is constantly made worse by patches over time.
In the real world, if I do poorly at my job, and continue to make things worse as time goes on I get fired. My boss doesnt care if I support my customers, or try really hard.
Maybe you should acknowledge how consumerism, and the real world works, rather than...
Will definetly disappoint me, as I don't have an xbone, and Forza is one of my favorite racing series.
I'm waiting for amd's offerings this generation. Then I'm going to make a decision on what card setup I'm going to go for. I have a i7 4790k, 16gb of ram, and an old hd7950 right now. Good for gaming at 1080@120fps, but can't do 4k well at all.
I'm going to get hate for this, but it needs to be said.
I strongly disagree with your opinion. They're using the same tired dx9 engine theyve used forever. The graphics in this dont in any way say next gen to me. And to make it available on pc and next gen only is a joke. The 360 and ps3 could easily push this game. It would require minimal effort to make it work on older consoles.
Also, saying "for a game of this size" doesnt excuse i...
