Name a game this gen that's been worth a 75-80 dollar price tag. Because I sure as hell haven't played one. If they want to raise prices, I'm all for it, so long as games come out that justify the cost.
Publishers/developers think they have everyone fooled this gen. With dlc, microtransactions, and season passes. Jokes on them, I've bought one game new this year, the rest were used, or heavily discounted goty editions.

No, it seems like he's simply waiting to see what there is. Destiny's beta had the same problem. Here we are more than 2 years later, and destiny barely has enough content to be called a full game. Sometimes it's good to wait and see what the final build has in store for you.
The only part missing is opening the doors for cover. You can shut car doors, but not open them and use them as cover. Seems like a simple thing that would honestly add to gameplay.

If you don't like online games, don't buy them. But to knock a game for being always online, when you kind of have to be for mmo style elements is a little silly.
Lol 4k/60 fps. Not gonna happen anytime soon, not in a console. Assuming you could get prices down for mass production, a console capable of gaming at 4k 60 fps would easily be $1000 or more.
Nintendo will do what they're known for. Make a console that is capable of pushing the stylized graphics of Nintendo games. Why do anything more when they know people will buy it?
Thus is why I always blame the developer for not fixing it, and the publisher for rushing it out the door. In the grand scheme of things qa only says "yep this is broke."
Mines currently up. But with a half meg download speed. And it's taking 2-3 mins for my store to come up. Remember that everyone can experience different things on the psn network. Rather than a big server farm, they have smaller satellite farms all over the world. It all depends on where you're connecting from. I'm here to tell you as of this minute in southern Washington state, psn in up, but performing absolutely horribly.

Exactly. This is one of the only industries where people pay for something, and have no idea what it will be. It's a bad practice overall, and often leads to consumers being upset when they feel underwhelmed by what they get.
Wait for a time around black Friday when they sell the whole game for less than $60. If I buy it, it will be then.
It all depends on you man. If you don't mind a lack of serious progression, repeating levels, and what some consider bland game play. Then you can enjoy the game for what it is. I have friends that love it, and friends that hate it. I poked fun at the ones that like it for spending 110 dollars on what I consider an incomplete game, but they pointed out I love counter strike. Which has the same weapons, no progression, etc, etc.

I would say the same. But complete or not, it lacks to many features that made the originals great. So unless the game gets expansions that drastically changes things, I still won't buy it.
I played pretty frequently for a year or more. About 2 months after the taken king I just stopped. There was zero left to do, and bungie gave zero reasons to keep playing. I kept it on my hdd up until a 2 weeks ago, knowing if I deleted it, I would never want to reinstall everything. So for me 2015 was the year to move on.
I'm 34 and the same way. 0 platinums. I haven't lost any sleep over getting or not getting a trophy or achievement though.

No you're not crazy. There are bigger problems in life. But ea seems to take the cake with the most vocal bunch in america. Although their practices don't effect people as dramatically. Every gamer from casual, to competitive generally dislikes them. And most people play games to get away from real world problems like politics, and the economy. Ea just serves to remind us you can't get away from corporate greed.

If you guys don't understand why ea beat the banks, and other garbage companies in the us, then your lucky. Almost everything a gamer considers wrong with the industry now days, was a tactic or idea pioneered by ea. Not to mention their shotty, rushed, no qa games being forced to market. It's been happening since the early 2000's, and only continues to get worse as they post bigger profits.

All platforms it's on are x86 architecture, which has been around for a long time. Judging by ubisoft pc optimization on prior games, I would agree with your statement.
this is basically running in to someone on the street offering something. saying i may have it tomorrow but it will be $20 more. Then when you hand them your money, they say "Ok wait here while I get it." while they disappear in to some back alley, and you're left wondering if they will come back or not.
