Windows 10 is the os. The Xbox dashboard is simply a program running over the top of it. It's windows 10, with a new gui.

Windows 10 was made to be installed on phones, tablets, pcs, and even the xbox. Unlike 8 where it only had the touch style interface. Windows 10 was made to fit which ever system it's installed on. So I stand by my original comment.

A modular console running Windows 10... that's called a pc, with a brand name attached to it.

Wow, evidently the world no longer gets sarcasm.

I was going to say something similiar. Like, there was already redemption in the game... you can't get more redemption.

It's clearly a different map. There's no airport in far cry primals map. 8P

Telling me how much content, and what is in a game, isn't opinion c-h-e-f. I don't buy a car, house, tv, or anything else before it's out, without knowing it's specs, and comparing it to the next closest thing. So why do it for a video game? The comparison to destiny was not a gameplay, or mechanics comparison. It was a comparison to how they chose to present their game. Hype it up, then release, and not allow reviews to sucker everyone in to buying day 1. I want to know...

The reason people want reviews is because of the taste destiny left in everyone's mouth. Sure everyone who was interested tried the beta, and know what the game is all about. But how much game is there? What else is there to do? What kind of high level/endgame content is there? Etc? I know I personally am looking for answers to those questions.

So you couldn't play in the dz or with friends. Doesn't mean they couldn't get a jump on the campaign. Then we would at least know how much there is to do, and if it's compeling. Just because you can go in to the dz, which is an mmo like enviorment, doesn't mean everything else can't be reviewed. Besides, we already know what to expect from the dz. The rest of the game is what everyone wants to know about.

Why not wait, and see if it's worth $60. Rather than speculating on the carefully scripted gameplay, that the developer has shown.

Was going to say the exact same thing.

Why would anyone plan on buying something that they have no clue what it contains? Let alone paying for it before you even get the game?

Most responsible adults wait until something is out, check reviews etc. Then buy as an informed consumer. This "shut up and take my money" mentality is screwed up.

I agree it would be tricky to find a way to implement. But more damage to go rogue, would put the person not going Rogue at a greater disadvantage in fighting back. I think the goal was to try and give the person being gunned down a chance to fight back. But the system seems it's slanted in favor of going Rogue easily and letting the victim fight back currently. Either way you adjust it, it seems it will be unfair to one side or the other.

There's only 2 changes I would like to see with going Rogue personally.

1. If you sustain fire at an npc, a player walking in to your line of fire won't cause you to become rogue.

2. Rogue timer depletes unless you're firing at non-hostile agents.

I hate the fact the counter would stop when I ran away, and people were shooting me. Especially because they walked in to my line of fire causing me to go rogue.

I agree. I'm sure they could've had more clutter, more reflections, physics, higher resolution textures, etc. The reason they chose not to could simply be the game size. What if they didn't want a 140gb game?

The beta literally tells you that the virus was released, and contained in nyc. I fail to understand how fanboys can't grasp that.

Hi get what you're saying. But why does it matter? Fallout 4 was nothing special graphically, but sold quite well. It also got great reviews. Battlefront looks amazing, but is a hollow shell of a game. The Medicare reviews speak for themselves.

If you're making a huge game territory wise, with an online component, and open world. Sacrifices must be made. Comparing it to other games is unfair. It's not using the same engine, and not developed by the same s...

I feel the same. My only real concern is the map size. The beta area was marked off. But the available map shown was only a part of central manhatten. Everything in the financial district, and North of times Square was greyed out. When they showed initial release, it showed all of manhatten, parts of jersey, and the bronx. I know they cut the Bronx out, but just central manhatten?

Past that I actually liked the games mechanics, idea, and atmosphere. I will wait for t...

How is it overhyped? I'm playing the beta now, and it's exactly everything they've advertised. Either you like the game, or you dont. But leave the "overhyped" out of it.

Yes. Best not to try out something for free to see if you like it...

Why did you even comment?

3662d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I comment on here from time to time. But mostly I just read and laugh. For the most part I have given up. I don't preorder. Don't buy season passes. Don't buy games new, because launch day fiascos are a norm. I wait months, or maybe years to pick up games now.

While people pay $100+ for a game before it's even out, I sit here and read. After their precious hyped game is releases they come running here to complain about how they were ripped off.
