Simply put... No!
No I feel the same way. And I have wondered if im getting older... or what it is? I loved MW, and ran out and bought MW2 at midnight. Needless to say I swore that to be my last Call of Duty game.
There trying to out do, what was done in the last game, but with only minor tweaks not re-working the formula.
I may get MW3 just to play the story threw... but it's not a must have, especially right now.
simply said for the pc side, it's a dx9 game in a dx11 world. It's big and beautiful, but it is definitely not pretty.
To bad the patches on pc didn't adress anything important.
If you think 30 fps is alright, that's good for you. But that's unacceptable to me, especially in a racing game.
The author is correct, it's a very disturbing trend this gen. Before I upgraded my pc, I would lower graphics settings intentionally to get higher frame rates. And now that I have a 120hz monitor, I'm here to tell you, if you pair that with 120+ fps you would realize just how unacceptable 30fps on anything is.
It's been bundled with higher end XFX cards for a while now.
That's a lot of trolls. Consider maybe a majority of people spent $60+ on a game, that promised to re-invigorate the series. But instead found the same thing they've played, for the last 4-5 years, with minor changes, and last gen graphics, and screaming pre-pubescent boys.
Then since they were stuck with they're purchase, they did the one thing they think could help others. Get on the Internet and leave feedback.
I didnt purchase the game, ...
Co-op on pc is horrible. You can't even talk to your co-op partner. Rendering the entire game mode useless.
That movie actually looks really good.
Why is it so hard to figure out, a review is an opinion of the reviewers experience. And just like no two people are alike, no 2 opinions have to be alike.
Yes I have heard of it. And you are correct its for games that don't have voip.
But you would imagine this years greatest fps, trying to topple the COD king, would have voip on pc? Wouldn't you? I mean this is 2011 31 of your closest friends in a team based game going commando because they have no way to communicate with their team. That's just stupid!
Here is an idea, add voice chat in the pc version. I can not for the life of me figure out why they would put a multi-player, team based game out. And not have a way to communicate through the game, other than stopping and bringing up the text box.
And yes I know you can voice chat in battlelog, but there is no clear cut way to friends request someone. Other than dropping out of the game typing a persons name in battlelog and waiting for them to accept your request.
If this is what bf4 would look like, it would definitely be a day one buy!
I would say this looks like a great $20 game. I haven't played it yet but plan on getting it from steam sometime next week.
Figures, I pre-ordered a hard copy just to try and avoid origin. Now it appears I'm screwed either way.
I understand the literal differences, and am buying it on pc. But you guys make it sound like console gamers are getting the shaft here. They are not they spent considerably less money, for a perfectly playable version of the game.
At least that's all I was trying to say.
exactly besides some graphic's perks, for higher end pc's, the only difference will be player count.
If BRINK is any indication, it will be $19.99 in 2 months.
I love when a person says a game, "doesn't sell well." Then they come out with some outrageous statement like, said developer should have gone multi-platform.
When in reality they have no idea what the budget was for the game, or even what the target number was for sales. Not to mention what ever contracts insomniac might have with Sony to create games.
I hate people that can write an article as pure speculation, and pass it off as news.
I actually hope this comes to steam, or some form of pc download. I loved Voltron, and would actually love to play this. Too bad my PS3 YLOD, on me.
