1) He suggest that you MUST go into the PS Store to see the content, and then says, basically, "they need some type of ticker that will give us updates on the PS store without actually going into the PS Store." Sony already added this feature, but apparently this gamer forgot about it because he chose to turn it off (the PSN ticker/marque is on by default).
2) Problem: In-game XMB takes to long to load during some games.
Proposed Solution: Make the XMB more compl...
I can see the cartoons now. The Phoenix rising from a pile of dead 360's.
I've chosen PS3 this gen, but I'm hoping the next X-Box does well. I may grab one and catch up on all the 360 games I've missed.
Pretty sure the Q6600 isn't 2.6 ghz. :P
I pre-purchased the game on steam for 40$.
I expected support for L4D to be much better. Lessen learned, don't purchase L4D2 until the map packs and mods and additional content (which must be free BTW) is already released. Game will probably be a worthy 10$ purchase by this time.
CoD games a good and all, but nothing special about them.
Generic game with subscription fees is trumped by generic game with no subscription fees every time.
This came out of the N4G forums. Here's another video from the N4G forums. Perhaps someone with some good connections can get these "sim experts" to help GT become more lifelike.
Over a billion years in waisted time.
Think of it as a 60$ map pack.
but MS didn't want to say anything, because they're pretty modest when it comes to things like that...
Yeah right.
If the "new maps" come as a 2 kilobyte file, I'm calling foul.
Pirates will be pirates; DRM wont stop them. The ONLY thing DRM does it turn away legitimate customers.
As one man told Ubisoft, "You keep your game (and DRM), I'll keep my money, and we'll see who the loser is at the end of the day." This is how the legitimate customers feel, myself included.
Why do people complain when developers make use of upcoming technologies?
They don't leave older hardware out in the cold, they make lower settings available for you, and higher settings available for people who can use it.
Everyone seeks the holy grail of "maximum settings," but here's a secrete; maximum settings do not exist for most game engines. There is always another polygon to be drawn.
Also, your justification of piracy is weak. "...
I especially liked the end, let me restate it.
"...they deserve because them are idiots."
If you DON'T want TF2 to be a MMORPG, then give everyone every weapon.
If you want TF2 to be a LITTLE like a MMORPG, use random unlocks.
If you want TF2 to be a LOT like a MMORGP, give the weapons to acheivement whores and nobody else.
Maybe I'm old fashion, but I like those FPS where everyone has the same weapons and abilities, and then it all comes down to skill. MMO's and single player games are great for unlocks. I don't want TF2 to be a MMORPG, so the new syste...
All the achievement whores are going to stop playing?
I like this update just keeps getting better and better! :)
Like to "pwn noobs" just because you've played 12 hours a day for the last 8 weeks? A MMORPG just might be the answer.
And don't worry, your "leet wares" wont be given away to anyone who has a real life.
MMORPG's reward people who sink lots of time into the game. The more skill you have, the less time you have to sink.
The old Valve system rewarded people who sink lots of time into the game. The more skill you have, the less time you have to sink.
The new Valve system rewards people who sink SOME time into the game.
If the new system is a MMORPG, then so is the old system is a MMORPG x 2. Thanks.
But lets remember, NO GAME the likes of GT5 has good damage.
Forza has some damage, but I don't consider it good damage. No flipping, no fires, and very limited body damage.

Easy is boring.
Heavy rain is fun to drive in.
Brings to mind Microsofts PC strategy:
"The Operating System is more important than the users silly programs."
