I know in GT5 (possibly Forza, I don't know) many races are done with full computer assistance turned on in the car. This doesn't disqualify them from being a sim, because these things exist in real life. I know GT5P was a spin fest if you turned off the assistance, and the GT5 Demo probably has them off by default.

It's much easier to keep control when a computer wont allow you to spin your wheels for more than a millisecond.

But I've seen some very disturbing things that aren't graphic intensive. It's not a matter of graphics.

Lets go fine ONE person who smokes and doesn't have cancer. Then we can prove that smoking has nothing to do with cancer. :D

The classic, (insert game not yet released) is far better than (insert game that you haven't played).

C'mon, you know that's the case with about half the comments. :)

It does well enough at strategy I guess, but it sucks at tactics. The classic star base suicide being the best example.

The online is the best part (although the service kind of sucks). It's real easy to find a 5v5 to join if you play at the right time. Very intimidating for newcomers though.

I'm only contending your comment that "believing that is something only wack jobs do."

All I'm saying is the knowledge of man quickly runs out and we soon enter into the realm of belief.

Like the child constantly asking why.

How do you know? How do you know that you know? How do you know that you know that you know?

You soon have nothing but belief.

How many scientists claim "energy cannot be created or destroye...

Believing is all there is.

How was anything ever proven without first BELIEVING it could be proven. And what good is proof if nobody BELIEVES it.

When has any conscious ever performed anything without BELIEVING? A belief may torn out to be false, but everyone believes in something.

There are fantasy games, sort of like the chose your own ending books, which are based entirely on text and could be enjoyed by a blind person. They even have entire programming [like] languages for writing them.

More of a matter of authoring a game than developing a game in this genre.

Or there are other, chemically assisted, games you can play.

Did Al Gore lose all credibility after announcing the earths internal temperature was "several million degrees." No.

Probably gave him a pass because he invented the internet.

They'll probably announce they're dropping Tiger and that they're creating a new GTA style game in the same conference.

"We felt that Tiger was a poor example for our children. Now if you'll look over here, we're demonstrating how fun it is to kill civilians in our new GTA clone."

You and all the other failed applicants can get together and make your own game. :)

Might turn out better than what Square Enix produces.

It's be awesome if they made is so you could upgrade other deployables besides just the turret...

Just gameplay improvements.

Hearing their desire to improve and support the game for free makes me consider buying it.

I hope the engineers that created the BFG really put their heads together and find a way to mount a flashlight to the gun.

For example, the PS3 could temporarily map the circle button to the triangle button. So when I press the circle button, the game receives a triangle button pushed event.

It would work with all games. There might be some issues with mapping triggers to buttons, but I believe all buttons have pressure sensitive input, so a button could do the work of a trigger, and visa-versa.
