That quote (from another forum) best describes my feelings. I don't like to micromanage my battles. I prefer to focus on strategy in strategy games, not tactics. From what I've seen of StarCraft the forcibly close camera and small battles (small is relative here, compared to SupCom where hundreds of units are running around) lead to a game of tactics, not strategy.

Basically, I just prefer longer and slower game play than what StarCraft has.

I hate to derail the t...

Been thinking of getting SC2 to tide me over until SupCom2 hits. Still haven't decided though.

I have both PC and PS3. I always would say "I can play every game I want, because most XBox games are on PC, and then I got PS3 games too. The only thing I'm really missing is Ninja Gaiden 2."

Now what am I missing? Gears 2? LOL.

Now I'll get 125 instead of 100 FPS.

Cammy is hoeing it up, then 2 seconds later there in a crashing plane?

Did I miss something?

If only all games were as smooth as MGS4 online.

(Don't get me wrong, I love the single player.)

That's like asking if your height effects how far your eyeballs are from the ground.

So lets say some friend decide to play together in one house.

How is Battle.net going to sort out 6 different computers, 6 different accounts, and 6 different games, when YOU ONLY HAVE ONE IP ADDRESS?

They will probably say "Sorry, only one player per IP address." Literally killing all localized play.

Have a friend or a bother you wan to play with? Buy a 2nd internet connection.

In the end, SC2 will never approach the glory of SC...

Doing ANYTHING without express consent of the developer is obsolete.

Paying Customer: "May I please play online."
Mighty Developer: "You may, be sure to click a few advertisements while your at it."

Paying Customer: "May I install this game on a new computer."
Mighty Developer: "Yes, please buy an additional installation licence for an additional 9.99. We will then be happy to allow you to install your game."

Nobody mention that Killzone 2 uses Havok, or all the PS3 boys will start hatting on PhysX.

If people stopped making mods, where would developers get their game ideas? Just like you said.

6165d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'm afraid Devs will be much less likely to release modding tools in the future.

"We have no plans to support modding, but don't worry, we have plenty of add-ons planned for the future. [We'll even provide a complimentary bottle of Vaseline.]"

A PS3 without Blu-ray would be like a PS3 that couldn't play games. Just another grill grill for cooking up burgers. Serve you drinks on your Blu-ray coasters.

So your saying someone might honestly dislike Killzone 2?

Whenever I create a new stealth virus, I make sure it has lots of pop-ups and spam, that way nobody will notice the virus.

""The second micro expansion is really about both diplomacy and the non-military aspects of the game which will bring it more in line with the RT4X sub-genre we've labeled it as."

I agree with the developer here, this will make Sins what I expected it to be. Of course, I will have to pay extra for it.

Valve is the retailer for Empire: Total War, not the developer.

Telling Valve to get their act together is kind of like me saying:
"Man, Walmart really let me down with Empire: Total War."

A gamer commits murder, and they say "wow, he played a lot of video games."

A state passes a law, and we say "wow, they have a lot of Mormons."

What's the difference?

All Mormons hate and misunderstand video games, and are out of touch with reality.
All gamers love violence and murder, and will likely commit violent crimes in the future.

Lets just say BOTH the above statements are EQUALLY accurate.

SALT LAKE CITY -- A bill that would allow parents to sue a store that claims it will not sell graphic games to children but does so anyway sailed through the House on Tuesday.

Lawmakers say if a store pledges it won't sell violent or sexually explicit games to kids but doesn't keep that vow, it would be considered deceptive advertising. House Bill 353 would let a parent file a civil lawsuit against the retailer.

First, what does the bill even say?

Second, considering we don't know what the bill says. How can we determine that "stupid republicans always pass stupid s**t like this?"
