It would be rejected for all the bugs and crashes, should they exist. Thus, the true experience cannot be replicated on console.

You could just build your own game. That could also help you get started in the industry, and you don't even need to be hired.

I reply to comment 5 mistakenly placed below:

"So tell me bjornbear. What the hell is so revolutionary about the game?
The quick time events? :P"

Consider the definition of revolutionary:
1. of, pertaining to, characterized by, or of the nature of a revolution, or a sudden, complete, or marked change: a revolutionary junta.
2. radically new or innovative; outside or beyond established procedure, principles, etc.: a revolutionary discovery...

Every time I lose to an experienced player, and they boast of they're victory, I have to ask myself if I'm really the loser.

Or is it?

Consider that 64 bit processors existed in the 1960's. Wonder why they moved to lower bit counts? :)

That's great for everyone who is primarily interested in the OS.

Most people don't give a damn about the OS so long as it can run the software they really care about. MS might be a little disappointed that Windows XP is still able to perform 99% of the tasks users are interested in.

It may be that the OS market is a loosing market.

Probably a new DRM scheme they've come up with.

Good read.

This game goes up .2 points for every hour you play.

I get the feeling that Crysis was very ugly on the inside (read: unoptimised) and there is major room for improvement. I played it through about 3 times, and it was pretty good, but I'm not inching for more.

ICO game was the only one I'm really interested in.

Yet it could have been much more.

I'm very glad I purchased the game and I've been having a lot of fun with it, but there is a lot of room for improvement. The controls don't feel as intuitive and responsive as I'd like, not as smooth as some other games. This has nothing to do with 256 players, or high system demand, it's purely a design and implementation issue.

It's also fairly difficult to fallow what's going on in the battle field. You should be able to vie...

If you don't have a mic, you can only play in regular games.

If you do have a mic, you can chose to play a regular game, or a mandatory mic game.

I'll just turn that on, which is sitting on top of my TV next to my speakers.

I doubt this is true though.

Last thing they saw from me as a post requesting more reasonable DRM in the PC version of Far Cry 2. I didn't happen. They've not made any money from me since. I really haven't missed out of much either.

I've been enjoying AI War: Fleet Command on PC. Made by a company with 6 employees who love their games and have chosen to put their paying customers first and put no burdens on them in the form of DRM. I did have a problem with the game though. I posted on their tech sup...

I still wonder if companies plan to announce strick DRM and then lessen it to what was originally planned later in hopes of appeasing customers.

5843d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I could refute that list, but you haven't posted it yet.

By what standard? Does never needing to format and never crashing constitute the ultimate operating system? If so I submit my cell phone OS as a contender for the title.

Although, I do like Vista, and it's been good to me. You can't claim it's the best.

(This message was submitted using the internet, which is not built on Windows Vista.)

You can do something like checking for negative numbers before you apply the changes to the online database.

But it's impossible to know what crackers might come up with.
