Cyborg- quiet down already.
'But what would make me cry is having an anemic exclusive line up like the pc has on a console'
Click this, scroll down and realise you dont have a clue. Dont talk nonsense about PC again, ok?

The pope is catholic!
Compared to other PC games then its not so hot. But compared to the console versions its ridiculously better. It makes the console versions look incredibly blurry and fuzzy the level of detail is greatly improved. Just look at the bike tyre tread on the first shot. You can even clearly read the tiny registration plate!
Pc also handles shadowing so much more beautifully, with headlights casting long shadows from objects and characters. TEH JAGZ arent great, but i would take them...
Dynamic weather cycles makes these sorts of comparisons difficult. The difference between the two versions is miniscule as it was two years ago with GTA4. The Pc version might have been nasty to run if you didnt have a quad, but if you did/do, it looked amazingly better than the consoles
MGS4 and Gears of War 2 have both sold over 5m. Except MGS4 had a smaller install base available to it and thus higher attach rate. Go figure. Metal Gear Solid 4 also enjoys a higher average critical reception than Gears of war 2. What game can sony release in 2011? Uncharted 3? GTA5 exclusively? Who knows this early?
However the biggest game of that year (2008) critically and commercially by some way was clearly GTA4.
The visual upgrade of 2 over 1 was in truth pretty slim, and there were trade offs. I expect a very small incremental upgrade at best. After two games that push 360 and a long period of visuals not moving significantly forward on the console, i dont see a significant upgrade coming from 3
IGN never said it was 5 hours entertainment. They said the single player was about 5 hours long. This it seems, is TRUE. Whichever way you spin it and turn it and defend it as replay this and online that, thats still short for a game that has built up its reputation from single player. Period.
Course that doesnt make it a bad game or even bad value. Personally though its not good enough for a game that has spent 4 years in development so i will be picking it up cheap maybe seco...
Some people might claim apple's marketing department is full of onanists. They clearly use other devices than apple's then.
What next? If you have an impressive trousersnake natal tracks it accidentally as a third leg?
Sadly i wont have that problem...
No.1: The studio woman is hot
No.2: The reporter isnt
No.3: I dont speak spanish
No.4: I didnt see anything i havent seen before (except the news woman, did i mention she was hot?)
A while? Yeah i been in it nearly six months...
Atom/Ion(9400) combo isnt completely useless for games. It'll run stuff before about 2005 reasonably well. However i feel we are only one generation away from netbooks being capable of running modern games with reasonable settings, albeit low resolutions that the netbooks support.
A next gen dual core Atom and a GPU with 32 shaders aka GT130M level performance + DDR3 memory already sneaking into these machines. Ion 2 was originally rumoured as a 32 shader part but trouble with ...
Blur over GT5? PoP/RDR over The Last Guardian?
Hmmmmmm......
Errrr......did anyone really truly expect a console crysis no matter what fancy optimised engine it runs on to look as anywhere near as good as the original crysis on medium settings on PC? Cos i didnt.
Uncharted 2 is the king of console graphics sure and its stunning how much performance was pulled from PS3. Looks superb in its own right and division. But in truth, it doesnt look as good as ye olde Pc crysis does it? Be honest. Not really close especially in motion when you st...
If any good developer is given six entire years to work on a single game on mostly a single platform then it SHOULD look pretty good. Its a lot more than the entire development cycle of other games on average, uncharted 2 for example was done start to finish in 18 months.
For whatever reason im still not totally sold. Its not one of those games that grabs my attention and smacks my face around and says SEE! SEE! Im triple A!
However......it looks like a slow burning thriller. Like a good book or a slow paced movie which doesnt necessarily leap out the screen and blow your head off but pulls you in slowly. Lets hope this is true of alan wake.
As i already pointed out. This is not a one handed device for extended periods and is awkward to use, you cant hold it in two hands and just thumb the whole screen as per a phone, best place is sitting down and resting it on your lap. Which rather defeats the point of it for me over a netbook or compact laptop with a nicely tilted screen and of course, non ridiculous pricing, flash browsing and full keyboard.
My 360 that was 'fixed' apparently by Microsoft a mere six months ago RROD on saturday morning. The week before that my PS3 crashed in the middle of a video and refused to restart showing YLOD.
Needless to say good old PC hardware is the most reliable. Sure, you could argue its more complex to keep in good shape inside the operating system, but truth is its a kind mistress these days when my consoles are so suicidal. Its reassuring to know the components inside my PC have at le...
The smartest thing would be to get it finished and knock it out as a budget title maybe on XBLA or PSN. It seems like to get it near current gen standards as a full title there would still be a lot of work to do, so just complete it and sell it as a DL title
I can tell you to quiet down cyborg, because clearly, you have been spouting complete cobblers as several lists have shown. :-) Now if you get over your nerd rage and stop your pointlessly wide and mostly inaccurate generalisations about Pc gamers we can all get back to the idea of crysis 2 being the most insane looking game on PC in this case...
Your opinion was that Pc has hardly any exclusives. Sometimes opinions are just wrong...
