The 360 version looks pap, it runs 1024 x 576 with a bunch of screen tearing with dated visuals and retarded AI because its basically running on unreal engine 2.5, the core technology can only be modified so far. Yes. Despite UE3 being around for years.
The Pc version on the other hand has DRM one step below a ubisoft inspector physically coming into your home and standing behind your shoulder everytime you want to play the game.

Been on the beta since day one. Its come on a way since that day, but its still really.......underwhelming. Clunky. Still it is only a beta of course and their aspirations are ambitious. Im just not seeing the progress i might expect though.,..
Good: Cover system, Nice executions, Flexible approaches.
Bad: Screen tearing, Dated graphics engine. Uber retarded enemy AI, Not entirely a stealthy game anymore? Heavily compressed audio i.e enemy voices? (hopefully to reduce the size of the demo only)

I like the idea of buying secondhand. The PC version is shocking. I will probably just wait it out and see for a few weeks how many activations the Pc version has too, and maybe if i have a friend who has it buy it off them and transfer it.
I really want as little of my money as possible in ubisoft's hands regards this.
Im undecided on what to do about this game. I need suggestions. Im a Pc gamer at heart but have all the platforms. I could buy this on Pc, and put up with the nasty DRM and not actually notice it, because im always connected anyway. OR i could wait until there is a crack for the game, and THEN buy it (i dont pirate) and apply the crack to circumvent the brutal DRM. OR i could buy the 360 version, although it would cost me more and just not be as good for me, i have a good PC and want the best...

I have just seen some shots of DX9 MINIMUM Pc versus DX11 MAXIMUM Pc. Its astounding how little difference there appears to be between the settings! Honestly gobsmacking. Its like Dirt 2 in that respect.

Maybe beans but then its easy to forget GT is doing this while pushing 50 percent more pixels than forza 3. If polyphony had chosen to design this at the same resolution as Forza 3 then its obvious it would have looked further superior to Forza 3 with low resolution screens, but as it is they chose to shoot even higher than 720P. Well done polyphony IMO and that extra res will pay off in image quality for owners of 1080P screens :-)

GT isnt hard to pick mainly because its lighting engine is absolutely mind blowingly realistic, cars shine and glow as the light strikes the paintwork. Its practically spot on to a real life photo on exterior shots, forza 3 looks very flat, matte almost by comparison.
When you buy a 450 euro product from the eurozone in the uk it will usually end up costing a similar figure of 450 in GBP, which yes of course means it somewhat more expensive to buy in the uk. Nothing new there.
If it ends up 450 euros and around 450 pounds in the uk then it'll probably be about 600 dollars U.S. That will also mean as per usual, its cheapest in north america, then eurozone and most expensive in the u.k.

As long as you realise that a single GTX480 will be at least 10 times faster than either PS3's or 360's GPU. (It has 3 BILLION transistors- ten times RSX. Is it running on a console though or demoed on a PC? Well the areas look tiny but it makes a change from Browns of war.
