Nothing surprising about using a Tegra 2 based design. Sony have contracts in place with nvidia, insider figures state it is in fact tegra 2 based. I think that you are dreaming and inventing hardware based only on years old designs for PSP2 when we already know nvidia are probably involved at some level, and the likelyhood of that being Tegra based chipset, some sort of customised chipset.

It says there is no standard controller and while technically true, The 360 controller is really becoming a standard for a large amount of games. It also works perfectly on PC wirelessly with a cheap dongle. That is a real boon for playing in front of a HDTV from a sofa.

Just looks like the 7 year old Pc version ported back onto console. I played that 1280 x 1024 in 2003. Was great. You can even remove the letterboxing on it with a regedit.
I agree the article states high but in the original Crysis 'high' was in fact one step down from maximal settings- very high DX10. So its a little ambiguous still.
Still i think this does point to Crysis 2 being further optimised for Pc, one of the benefits that one would expect and even one Crytek have touched on beforehand with the game being produced for console.
Still good now on PC even though its 7 years old. As long as you did the regedit to remove the black borders if you play in widescreen coming from being a console game last gen. As i played this on PC 1280 x 1024 all those years ago though i wont be picking up this which is probably still only 1280 x 720 lol.

I have confidence RAGE will be a great game, Id software have a superb history for shooters combined with advanced technology engines. The possibilities for such an expansive and detailed world are knee tremblingly exciting.

Thought about buying it for 360 way back when until i heard PC version was a cert, and then when i saw the reviews and had a go myself on 360 i am unsure even if i want to get it for Pc.

Console v console version is arguable. Debatable. Never will everyone completely agree. I would put money down on Kz3 for me personally probably because its an exclusive and building on a proven PS3 engine.

I like the fact top end PC games build in settings above and beyond what most people will have at the time. Medium settings these days on Pc games commonly outshines the consoles and is easily reachable for an average machine.
Its a great feeling to get an upgrade after a few years to find you are replaying a game that looks and runs even better than the first time you remember it, certainly not something console gamers can claim a few years later!
This phone will deliver great performance but at the cost of being battery crushing. When the reviews come in the thing they will be talking about after praising how fast it is will be how terrible the battery life is.

Wii will have to sell at the rate is is for the next 5 years to surpass PS2's sales cleanly. I dont really believe it possible, although this generation has/will be longer than usual helping wii's cause. What with Microsoft and sony now looking to get in on the act, eventually pricing their machines closer to wii and then introducing a whole new generation nintendo will surely look to update the wii concept inside the next 2 years as well.
