Yes, i agree - it is a rip off to make you pay all that if all you want to do is play online.

Playing online alone Should not cost any money, i'd be happy with silver membership offering free online play, gold sub dropped in price but with all the extra features you normally get.

I won't be buying it on either platform, hated the first one.

It sounds so cheesey saying that you get totally "Lost" in this game, but turn of the sound - turn off the lights so you're looking at nothing but your tv and play the game and you do kind of get "lost" in the game.

Keep it in the PS3 section because he is one of the few people in the media who isn't afraid to bring light to the things sony does well?

He gives microsoft more than enough credit and alot of the time still highlights WHY microsoft is winning, he is in no way biased, he just brings to light the great things both companies do right and mostly ignores the bad - which imo, is great for the gaming media which is always filled with doom and gloom.

No, i read that but i was too blinded by the ignorance you shoved around it.

Alot of people still enjoy it though, i logged on today to check out the street fighter t-shirts i unlocked when i got certain trophies (Yes, we have rewards for trophies now!) and everywhere i went was full.

I wasn't trying to insult the game or the people who play it, i was just asking what halo fans love about the game, in a good way so that i can look at the game in the same way they do so i can try and see it.

I don't care what platform the game is on, but i've tried to like the halo games but i can't - what is exactly so special about them?

I mean come on, i bought this copy of halo 3 at launch but only just completed the game a few weeks ago because i just found it so boring, i mean i had to complete it on normal because if i die on a game i don't find compelling enough to carry on i simply won't carry on.
