Have said there is over 40gb of data on the final retail version, i doubt they could dumb it down that much.
Microsoft designed a small pc designed to run a certain type of software with hardware that was built for a pc, sony designed their console to be a games console.
Though it does explain why development on the 360 is so much easier, because it basically is a scaled down pc.
Most of sonys good exclusives are first and second party, good luck with that.
I know they care about their games, i just don't know - the wii seems more of a toy to me than a gaming console, nothing appeals to me on the wii whereas i've always had an interest in most of nintedo's first party games on their older systems.
They made a good move though, as a business - looking at their sales.
Nintendo are not big at all on 3rd party and sony probably would of just stayed in the tech side of things since all they were doing was providing hardware.
So we probably would of just had nintendo's usual stuff and to be honest, i much prefer the stuff sony has in their first and second party then nintendo's first party.
You can argue with this all you like but its a simple fact, without the ps1 and 2 the games industry would not be half as big as it is now.
There may of never been a playstation if nintendo didn't decide to ditch sony - thank god they did!
Uh, i'm not trying to take sides here but - how can you say that when the xbox 360 has only outsold it twice in japan and was only by a few thousand each time.
PS: The japs are as littlebigplanet mad as us lot are, i'm sure we'll see a big boost in sales of the ps3 over there when lbp is released.
Is also, amazing. I've had my sister playing with me since i got the beta, just turn on a controller select a profile & psn you want to use for that and another sackboy comes up, you can customise that and it will save it to that profile and you can go online with other people playing offline too.
Having my sister hold back the competition in the race for me to run ahead and win it then hearing these grown men laughing so hard down their microphone is just a great thing to he...
Yes they may seem a bit picky, but the only thing i could see they really cared about was the controls being a bit clunky - and i agree with that - especially in the create mode, i found myself nearly throwing the controller at the screen due to the amount of times i accidently pressed one of the undo, pause play button just because usually they're used for different things.
And no ^^ i can't find any delay in the controls - just moving backwards and forwards between the 3 layers...
I'd never buy any of valve games on any console, they're always much better on pc.
The game has offline multiplayer mode, just turn on another controller and pick if you want to use another user & psn on your ps3 or just use 'guest' as that sackboy and another sackboy will popup ready for use.
This is an amazingly fun game, hearing grown men bursting out in fits of laughter down the mic when you throw grab hold of them and throw them into fire is crazy.
Yeah, gears deserves the top franchise on the 360 - not halo.
This, in theory sounds great. I hope they can pull it off.

Is selling more than the 360 and has been most of the time since last last year, it has europe and japan over the 360 - its only really NA that the 360 is dominating in total sales.
But like i said, the ps3's monthly sales have been better than the 360s since late last year, so uh - i think its you that is denying the fact that the ps3 is coming back thick and fast after its horrible launch.
I didn't get through them all, but i certainly agree that Half life2 and MGS4 deserve to be on there, along with all the other metal gear solid games.
Like i said though, i didnt get far into it - but they were all current gen games, right?

I wouldn't be surprised if the 360 beat the ps3 sales over the holiday, especially with the credit crunch 'n all.
Though i do personally think the ps3 will take second place behind the wii, i can't see the 360 doing that well, but like i said - it wouldn't be that surprised if it did beat the ps3.
I bet you wouldn't of said that if they never did that presentation at E3 with it.
Alot of tutorials on it too so you can learn how to use the tools and such, there are around 20 tutorials on the beta alone though the beta is only 1gb.
They have also said there will be 50 levels on the disc and if they are anything like the ones in the beta, damn i'll be busy trying to unlock everything. Even on these levels i still havn't found all the secrets to unlock more items.
