^^ I'm on my 18th playthrough and not just because i know there might not be trophies coming, but because i love playing the game.

I also hate how everyone is going with full touch screens now, most of the time they all look really ugly.
I would of bought this if:
1) I didn't buy the PS3 version of GTA4 instead
2) Street fighter 4 and killzone 2 were coming out so close to it
I'll probably buy the DLC once i find a cheap copy of GTA4 for 360, i actually really enjoyed GTA4, it was just boring after you completed the actual game.
Unless panasonic are going to be giving me games like WipEout HD in full 3D, then i personally don't care.
And no, i'm not saying they will be bringing out WipEout HD 3D support, i'm just using that as an example.
So sony got 125m extra sales because of the 1 year headstart? Oh please, pull the other one.
It isn't just PS3 fans, it is from both sides.
Its like when there is a rumour of a PS3 exclusive going over to the 360 then everyone is getting all excited, but then afterwards when it is confirmed not to be everyone is talking about how rubbish that game would of been anyway.
Same applies for PS3 owners.

Microsoft are pushing online capabilities (features and such)
Sony are trying to go places where consoles have never really been before - minus the online features side, but i can see them trying with things like MAG and Home.
They're both doing their part for the console industry.
I thought solid snake and otacon riding off into the sunset on mgs1 was rather romantic.
The fact they are even being compared goes to show how amazing the first two were.
Heck, even the PSP version looked on par with the PS2 versions (Yes, i know it wouldn't if you blew it up on a big tv).
I still have the original PSP, i have not really used it much - i bought it at launch and played it a bit for around a year and then just put it away, got it out again for god of war and crisis core but they are games that you play for hours on end and the damn shape of it hurts my hand so much after a while.
I won't be upgrading to a PSP3000 or anything like that, but i probably will upgrade to a PSP2 if they add an extra stick, have a HDD built in, improved ergonomics, PS3 cont...
Its because he is a game developer, i've seen and heard many interviews where he has said that he can never get into story based games.
It is because he himself, is a games developer. Many games developers say that since they have made their own games - gaming has never been the same for them.
Have the gamer zone and open zone swapped roles?
Aslong as they give the option to upscale it to 1080p, then i'm fine. Even though i won't be that bothered even if they just keep it in 720p.
Who cares, i love GoW because of the perfect gameplay. Everything they have done in that game is perfect, the graphics are just a great add-on :)
That is actually pretty good numbers for the 360.
1) I admit, at first i wasn't amazed by the graphics on the first trailer - but it has its own art style that doesn't really show the technical side of things very well, but after this trailer and the screenshots - it looks amazing!
2) Even if the graphics were PS2 standard and they just kept up with the amazing gameplay they had in the previous games, it would be worth the hype.

But wow, this game looks stunning and it is still most likely a year off.
I'm willing to bet:
GoW3 > Killzone 2 & MGS4 & Uncharted 2 & Gears of war 2 in terms of graphics
Pimpdaddy, that would be a valid arugment if the PS2 wasn't like 125m sales ahead of the other consoles.
The 360 is less than 8m ahead of the 360, which is less than a years worth of sales. The PS3 has closed the gap.
