No i don't think half-life is the best, i had the killzone 2 online beta and i think it is the best online FPS on the current gen of consoles.
But i just don't see it being the BEST, all i see it as is a Great shooter, nothing more - nothing less.

Comparing killzone 2 MP to Quake MP is rather stupid if you ask me.
Why? Quake is a fast paced Twitchy arcade shooter, killzone 2 is a slower more tactical shooter. I love quake and still play it to this day, but i want something new, so killzone 2 gets the edge for me.
Oh and please, shut up calling killzone 2 the best FPS ever, thanks.

They had a year headstart in NA and much over a years headstart in EU - the figure they are behind is much less than a years worth of sales.
The 360 should of at least been 10m ahead because:
1) The 360 was/still is cheaper
2) Huge Headstart as mentioned above
3) Better, well known online service
4) Better library of games
5) Well marketed

Actually no - there were only around 30,000 european codes sent out and around the same for the US.
There was rarely ever over 100 people online on the beta in the EU servers.
In the beta, i didn't have a single laggy match.
You're not given the option to host a server on your own machine, but you can create servers and have almost full control over it and it is hosted on GG's own high speed servers.
I could join matches in japan, america, europe and didn't find a match where i was lagging, it was great.
Of course, it could all just crumble under the pressure on day 1, but from what i saw- i think it will hold up pretty well. ...
Hydrolex, killzone 2 would never go multiplatform due to the simple fact it is made by one of sony's studios.
If mass effect was made by microsoft then no one would be asking if it was going multiplatform.

Seriously, i like what they have done with noby noby boy, i think it is a great "game".
Noby noby has no substance, there is little objective and won't last even half as long as halo wars would.

The creative freedom sony give to devs of PSN games is the reason why i prefer the playstation store original content over the xbox live original content.
Whenever someone is asking me what is better, live or PSN i always mention the original store content - even if i do say live, overall is better.
Yeah i don't actually know why they havn't been doing what i have been doing the last few days, playing the game non-stop!
Yeah and 80% means it is actually a good game, just 90%+ usually means "Must buy".
I'll be buying this, despite me saying a while ago i won't support microsofts attempts at milking the halo name, but i don't mind if they do it well.
This is probably why that UT3 pack coming out mentions that content that used to be exclusive to the 360 version of UT3 will be in this pack for the PS3 too.
Not to mention the other huge features and content they're adding to it.
I really like UT3 on PS3, playing it with mouse and keyboard is great - it is a shame hardly anyone plays it anymore.
Its only 7 or so million behind the 360's... I wouldn't say it sucks.
