Reasons:
RE5 was released for the PS3 and 360.
Yakuza 3 released for the PS3.
Demon souls released for the PS3.
Ninja blade released for the 360.
So yeah.. no wonder the PS3 and 360 have been doing well recently in japan.
Yes they are, there are a few of sony's own first party studio's that havn't been accounted for yet in terms of PS3 games.
Resident Evil 5 has proved that we will get amazing graphics on not only our exclusive games but on our multiplatform games in the future.
I know killzone 2 looks better than RE5 but if capcom have managed to get a game looking that good on multiple platforms then we seriously do have alot more to come in the future.
Anyway@OP. Yeah.. i'll wait to see the engine in action first.

I'll add some agree's to your comments, sorry on behalf of the retarded idiots on N4G who disagree'd you.
I liked the phase you went through where you were all balanced.. you know.. "360 is great.. ps3 is great.." You seem to be slipping out of that :(
I agree, i loved fable 2 but the DLC was just rubbish.
But the fact is, there isn't really any PC games that are lightyears ahead of console games anymore. Game developers don't want to alienate people by making games that can only be played on REALLY high end PC's.
Sure, pretty much all multiplatform games look much better on PC but most of the time it is just higher res, better reflections and better anti aliasing.
I can sort of agree with the:
- A.I is inconsistent at various times during the game
Because that is one of the down sides as to having A.I that isn't fully scripted, some people will say it is a good thing - some people will say it isn't.
The actual A.I tech is amazing, but i can see why people can say it is inconsistent.
Go to the Home forums on the EU playstation forums or the US playstation forums and you will see that there are loads of people that really love that service.
Can't say i love it too, but i do think it is a good service - not half of what it could be but it is still good and judging from the amount of people that are always on the service - it is a far from a flop.

The same reason the wii is crushing the PS3 and 360? It has been proved long ago that great games don't sell the system to the masses.
I'm not saying the playstation didn't deserve to win, far from it. But the N64 had a few great games.. Goldeneye, Starfox 64 and Zelda: OOT.. etc.

Sony also got taken to court for that, but they decided to fight it - hence the reason rumble for PS3 was late. Silly decision to fight it in the end though, if i remember correctly sony had to pay $150m in damages.

Probably won't come to anything, but anyone see a trend - these people keep quiet all these years till whatever they plan on taking the company to court for is a bigger and popular thing so they can take more costs in damages.
The fact people didn't already assume this is silly, we would of heard of insomniac breaking off from the contracts with sony - they are *officially* a second party studio so they can't just choose when they want to make a multiplatform game.
Insomniac have *only* made sony games as a company for nearly 13 years, they couldn't just drop out and us not hear anything about it.
