All that fuss for the ps3 to go and sell just under as many units it took the 360 to sell in 7 weeks..

I bet when the developers made/make the trophies for their game they also have had to make the 3d counter-part for when home is out.
Hyping the game up, seriously - it may look good, but lets start judging once we get to play it.
Would you really want to hype this game up then it turn out it plays like sh!t?
Don't get me wrong though, i'm looking forward to it as much as you lot are, i just don't want you lot hyping it up to be something it might not be able to live up to..
FPS games are there anyway? Don't get me wrong i'm really looking forward to R2, but what other big FPS games came out this year anyway?

Its in the developers interest to make a matching experience unless there is some contract written up that will benefit them.
Games that are developed with the PS3 in mind only, WipEout HD, MGS4, Uncharted, Resistance 2 ( http://forums.gametrailers.... and you'll see what i mean) they are all amazingly good games, mgs4 being called one of the most technically advanced and impressive games to this...
It is not a game.
That they rated the first game higher, simply because the "WOW" factor isn't there anymore. Well, that might be a bit off since there is supposed to be a lot of nice bits in the story mode, but you know - the gameplay in was unique and what gave the original game that wow factor.
It'll be a great game, don't get me wrong - i just can't see being Wow'd as much as i was with the first one.
Today, the graphics are stunning. Its hard to find a technical flaw in the game, i mean i did only play it for around 20 minutes but what i got to play, it is one of the best FPS games i've ever played.
I was really wanting this game just before the reviews, it gets a lot of amazingly good reviews and now i'm a bit "Meh", for some really strange reason.
And i nearly cried at what they have done to such a legendary series.
Will need to do alot more than a few thousand more weekly sales over the PS3 to take japan before the next gen comes along, come on - the system hasn't even hit 1million sales there after being on the market for 3 years.
The big hitters this holiday, MGS4 came out in june.
