They would make another LBP - just keep updating the current one. <3 Sonys strategy of building up first and second party games, it is those games that have made the playstation experience for me and will continue to do so.
It really is a shame it isn't coming out on PS3, i loved the demo on the 360 but not many friends own/play on their 360 much anymore and i only know of one person planning to get this game.
But it is only a very small percentage, around 2 - 3%.
Saying that insomniac slept through the development is stupid, it is one of the most feature packed games on the ps3.
They didn't just simply add in some extra multiplayer modes and effects on the characters, they didn't simply just change the story around, they didn't just simply add in the regular 2-player story co-op, seriously - insomniac deserve respect for working so hard to improve the old game, maybe some people don't like some of the improvements but saying that they sle...
Yeah, that makes perfect sense - lets ignore peoples opinions on the game and listen to some numbers instead!
I do like the game, i like it better than CoD4 infact - the weapons are much more balanced, much more feature packed and there is alot more attention to detail in the story mode and the multiplayer maps. It feels like a proper war, something i feel was lacking slightly from CoD4.
The story mode is epic, but i feel that pretty much everything changed in the multiplayer could of been included in an update to the first gears.
Though it is much better with playing with such nice graphics on multiplayer.
I think this game should of scored high just for the fact they managed to get the core gameplay just right, everything works so great - yes it may be stupidly short and the lack of anything else will make you feel a bit ripped off once you finished the game but it is a brave step and they managed to do execute it better than most of us expected.
Yes LBP and socom have had problems but warhawk has had little to none, it all runs perfectly online - MGO, the only problems with that was their stupid ID system and having to use their sites that got flooded and went down for weeks whenever something new came out, besides the fact MGO is totally seperate from the PSN.
Socom issues were all down to bad programming and LBP was just being hit harder than expected, i guess :\
The online has only been a problem on LBP ...
Is a very fun game though, these so called technical flaws that i saw very little of didn't effect the way i played the game at all.
It isn't the best game, but it was a good one.

Have been funding them for 10 years, sony is the one who have built their studio into what they are now - them going multiplatform is very unlikely, i doubt anyone would want to ruin a relationship like they have with sony.
Almost every game their second party studios like insomniac make sony are behind the funding on it so of course, sony own them games.
Anyway, this just seems to be the "I can see why alot of people are going multiplatform, i don't blame them&...

But it is still a very fun game to play.
