They only dumped nintendo because they chose to go with cartridges again and they were much more expensive to manufacture than CD etc etc.
They dumped sony because microsoft have been paying them out, so yeah. Maybe they'll go back to sony in a few years once the ps3 has finally shown what is it worth?

I've been seeing reviewers saying that the story mode maintains a 60fps pretty much all the time, not sure about the online play though - not out here in europe for another few weeks.
I'm as glad as you lot are that the ps3 is really starting to show its braun, but the comparisons to the 360 about it not being as powerful annoys me and it makes you lot look like paranoid freaks that need constant reasurance that their console is going to beat the other to stay sane.

Just played it through on 360 but i think it would be so much better on pc, like all valves games - so yeah, i'll be getting it on pc.

MGO is a great game, but i wouldn't ever have it replace a game like gears, simply because it is a totally different game.
Before i got this game i was ready to bag on it loads for being too much of the same thing, but the story mode is very good for an action game, very good production value - great graphics, a very technically impressive game.
I played the multiplayer mode on the first game for ages months so i thought i would get bored with this one much quicker, i probably still will be i have got back into it, all the little changes they have added really make it a much better game.

What this guy hates about gears of war 2? Hardly news in my opinion.
CoD: WaW will be better, just by playing the beta.

Is a sequel to a really successful game, LBP is a strange game and a NEW franchise, it is rare for a new franchise to get good sales at first, especially a franchise that is going into uncommon area.
The visual damage to the car is all pre-rendered, the crash damage on this is supposed to be all dynamic, meaning it will be very different every time you crash.
I am questioning the possibility of this, but i've always loved the GT series and i'll have faith.
