Just out of curiosity, what did you think were the 2 best PlayStation designs and which 2 were the worst?
By reading the statement it does not appear that they are completely removing the ads. It seems they are moving them to another part of the game. Perhaps they will be "integrated" in 2KTV.
Agreed. However, your post is not only relevant to gaming media, but the whole of all media.
Are they though? At $390 it seems like a project is destined to fail. I am of the opinion that at this point Atari should consider this project to be a sunk cost and move on. At the very least maybe delay launch further as to not be competing with Microsoft and Sony for the same dollars in November. I hope they prove me wrong. In 2005 I predicted that the Nintendo Wii would fail and would get smashed by the 360 and PS3 so it would not be the first time I was wrong.
$389.99 and releasing at the same time as the PS5 and Series S/X......Smart.
Sarcasm
Well...Atari does have a history of crashing the video game market all together.
See Atari's ET 1982
For those who are disagreeing I am legitimately curious as to why you believe the Series S/X is worth a preorder? Not trying to debate, I really want to know what makes a preorder worth it to you?
I thought this released in late 2019. Got the release date confused with Gears 5 for no apparent reason. Actively attempting to pull my head out of my a**.
Looks nice visually, but the gameplay seems dull.
Way to allow your top franchise to be devalued Microsoft. Here is to hoping for free lifetime access to Gamepass with my next bean burrito purchase from Taco Bell.
You are correct but the word "will" is in direct contradiction with the word "mockup." The word "will" is the issue.
How do these games make a Series S/X preorder worth it when there is no console exclusives at launch? Halo Infinite may end up being a system seller for many, but the key word is preorder and I do not see the need for a preorder when the game releases in 2021.
I would recommend you put it near the top of the backlog. For me it was one of the most fun games of the generation. I cannot wait for part 2!
Sony has attempted to add new tech into there controllers over the last couple of generations and this is the first time I think it may really make a significant difference. When the PS3 was announced I couldn't care less about six axis motion controls, and felt the same about the swipe pad on the PS4 control. However, the introduction of new haptics into this version of the Dualsense is exciting to me, and I believe developers will utilize it far more than motion controls or the swipe pa...
The advantages of physical are numerous. I wish it were the future, but it is easy to see that digital will replace it. I will continue buying physical until I no longer have the option.
Was hoping for a texture fix. Played through the game twice, and other than textures, I didn’t really see many bugs at all. Square did a great job on the initial release which is rare this generation for a game of this scope.
Nope
My take. The spike in interest for Xbox in 2019 was because they were the first to announce and show anything pertaining to a next gen console. Naturally many will want that first peak to see what a next gen console has to offer. PS5 would have had similar interest if they were the first to announce.
The next largest spikes in interest for both consoles are around each of their respective pre-order dates. The difference is that nobody saw the PS5 pre-order launch coming and...
@aconnellan, I appreciate it is free, but I am not seeing any upgrades evidenced by these screenshots.
Out of pure curiosity, why all the hate for Austin Evans?
