@majiebeast
Bayonetta 2 and ZombiU... how the hell would these games even remotely alter the types of games that the Wii U would receive? How would they possibly affect the way Zelda and Mario would look? Also, "Sony hate parade"? Wow, what are you, three? I should have figured you would be bitter after I pointed out you were a troll.
Killzone and InFamous are the only games of these newer consoles to have game footage on the internet for public vie...
Welp, that solves the Smash Bros. 4 issue.
Um... release games on a timely schedule? You're aware this launched this week, right?
@majiebeast
I think you may have missed my point. This was primarily about graphics, not thematic material. InFamous' latest games' visuals look great, but they fall in line with the ultra realistic/detailed look I was talking about. Don't get me wrong, I think they look great. I just don't want the PS4's entire library to look that way.
"But it's easier to put words into peoples mouths than to address issues. You should be a politician."
This coming from the guy who has a history of putting words into peoples' mouths. You are hardly in any place to use that phrase when you yourself aren't even capable of staying on topic half the time.
The largest irony is I recall saying this quote to you in the past.
What shovelware came from Nintendo exactly? I give you Wii Music, but that was a single game as oppose to a variety of Nintendo produced games that received high critical reception and were generally fun to play in my opinion.
If you're talking about things like Carnival Games, then you need to rethink your argument because those games were not made by Nintendo.
They sensationalized the headline, basically leaving out context to imply that having an hour long download was likely. In my case, it actually did take about 50 minutes, but I was on the phone at the time and my Wii U was making the download at a friend's house with a less stellar connection.
Yeah, it's not like they confirmed Smash Bros., 3D Mario, Mario Kart U, Zelda U and other games for E3 at their Wii U Nintendo Direct.
OH WAIT.
Ah, the age old "tacked on multiplayer" complaint. You know not every game that adds multiplayer automatically sucks. Let's see what they do with it and if it sucks, then we can complain away.
Yeah, I was pretty confused too. According to a quote I read, they omitted a second analogue nub because it would have made the XL "too big and expensive."
There's always the XL Circle Pad I suppose. Now for those unannounced 3rd party games...
Edit: @below
I have several friends who have told me how awesome they feel those essential Atlus games are. After having played Catherine, I'm inclined to believe them. Do I need to ...
No. That's what anyone who didn't read past the headline will tell you. They're going to be at E3 like always. They just won't be having a large-scale presentation like in previous years, rather smaller scale ones with a greater focus on the western market apparently.
I think a lot of people would agree with this. The general public wants a better reason to own a Wii U. Games would probably be one of them.
"Do you rike it?"
Trolling complimented with unfunny racism. Stay classy.
Just throwing this out there; E3 is not the only outlet to get information to the public. Sony revealed the PS4 with their own conference and the net was all abuzz about it.
Kinda figured this was confirmed eons ago, but hey, reaffirmation is never a bad thing.
Well not always. I'm pretty sure the original Xbox sold more than the Gamecube and was a little bit more powerful.
Wasn't really even attempting subtlety. I feel the articles I was making fun of don't use any, so why should I?
People will like what they want to; if Nintendo's aesthetic doesn't appeal to someone then there's nothing wrong with that.
Incessant and unwarranted hatred? Different story there.
I wouldn't say Iwata's done a perfect job, but I do think it's much better than some would say it's been around here. I do find it ironic how much I've heard "Iwata should be kicked to the curb" and then instead he gets a promotion. Hopefully this will increase communication between the company and its western audience.
Also, ignore majiebeast. He leaves negative comments on negative articles specifically to boost his bubbles. He approved one of ...
"More power means more than realistic graphics...it's a major game changer."
I got that, though I don't feel the two should be mutually exclusive. I'm not trying to say better graphics and stronger hardware means bad things for hardware; my concern is for future trends in the industry.
I would like to keep seeing games like Brutal Legend, Jak and Daxter, and other games with stylized visuals as oppose to just games with ultra high detail...
