I had to stop reading right around here. No it is NOT hard to say. Nintendo may not own the commentary in the Let's Plays, but they most certainly own the video/audio content within them. Skyrim was definitely a game for a certain crowd of people. Zelda is for a different crowd entirely. I think it should stay that way.

Yes, because Mario Kart Double Dash and Mario Kart 7 are exactly alike, correct? New Super Mario Bros. I give you since those games really don't change much, but I don't see how Nintendo's other flagship franchises even remotely "smack of remake."

Nintendo and a few other publishers already do to a degree; they add codes to their games that people can register on club sites to earn free stuff, particularly free game downloads in Nintendo's case.
I don't need games to know about their block on used games, mandatory online logins and mandatory Kinect for this system. No game will sell me on this system; not even the likes of Mario or Zelda could sell me on a system like that, not unless Microsoft removes these restrictions.
EDIT: Point being a lack of games was not Microsoft's way of abandoning gamers, being an anti-consumer and all around greedy entity was their way.

Streaming definitely has potential. The tech needs time to develop to a point where the process can be considered on par or even superior to disc/download games.
