Hope this game is successful. I really like the art style and it looks like it can be a lot of fun.
@Arius Dion
^This. No reason not to have online multiplayer at this point.
Sony: Just show the console. That's really it.
Nintendo: Games. And a lot of 'em.
Microsoft: Well, you can only go up from here.
Seriously. All I've been hearing about for the past couple of months is this mutual thing Nintendo and indie devs have had lately.
I won't be playing very many new games anymore, I'll tell you that much.
That's nothing. I've openly showered the Vita hardware with praise before. All I've ever criticized is the library and the marketing (and I've even done the same with the Wii U) yet for whatever reason I'm labelled as a troll and a Nintendo fanboy.
That's N4G for ya.
@Elwenil
Should I go and assume that Goldeneye 64 and Super Smash Bros. don't fall into as far as you've seen then?
"BUT IT HAS NO GAMES!!!"
Good to see the library growing, if even slowly.
You're an idiot.
Well, as any young fan will learn, everything is subject to criticism. Cute video though. Kinda reminds me of James Rolfe's video as a kid saying why the SNES (or was it NES?) was better than the Genesis.
As far as pulling in more gamers, PS2. As far as innovations I'll give it to 64 for the 4 player ports. Both consoles had great features and games that gave me good memories for different reasons.
EDIT: @yewles1
This wasn't even a reply. That console has two ports on it. And besides, while I'm sure there was a console out there that had a multitap before the 64's existence, it doesn't change the fact that the 64 really popularized 4 player...
Funny how devs who have successfully made their games better looking on Wii U say it's more powerful and these bozos call them liars.
Then we have EA who couldn't give a rat's ass about producing any engine work on Wii U while saying it's weaker than a 360... and one of their devs, Criterion, makes Need for Speed look better on Wii U than on the other consoles.
These haters are so fickle, they will dive straight down to the bottom of the barre...
@yewles1
Look at all this reverse damage control. Are the hater tears a-flowin' yet?
Not sure that was what they meant at the time, but not entirely inaccurate I suppose. Man, this is quite a mystery.
Really I thought there was only a slight smidge of Galaxy in this game. It looks more like Sonic Xtreme to me. Also Sonic using his figure eight run made me giddy. :)
Clearly we're on different bases of this discussion. I won't buy a console with this sort of restriction; period. That goes for any sort of home console. It's an anti-consumer practice that does not deserve my money.
Xbox One does this with all games and PS4 apparently will do this for certain publishers. Well those publishers (and the Xbox One) will not be getting my money. That's that.
Compared to what exactly? Sonic '06?
Absolutely repulsively disgusting. Hope the bastard burns.
After the proper drivers come out.
"But they're liars! Heathens! Blasphemers!"
They also seemingly have extensive knowledge of the hardware and have successfully made one of their games look and perform better on Wii U.
"*puts fingers in ears* LA LA LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!"
Look, I'm not saying the Wii U will match up to PS4 level specs, but if I hear one more person try to claim it's weaker than the 360 without any real proof, I'll ...
