Or maybe he likes Nintendo and thought this article was a "good read."
Just saying.
Like I said, spoiled and self-entitled.
I can't stress it enough, we don't create the games even if we are giving people money for them. It's GOOD to provide feedback but to throw a bitch fit (and in some cases harass members of the company) is NOT okay.
Day 1 DLC is a problem and Bioware could have handled this better (they could/should have made it free with a new copy of the game). However, thinking you own the story of the game, its characters...
Complaining is one thing, demanding that everything be done your way is another. Also, harassing members of the Bioware staff and trolling an otherwise once okay community is NOT a viable method to getting what you want.
So thank you for completely missing the point of my comment. I even said that it's good to provide feedback to the creators in question.
Given that you haven't even played the game yet, you hardly have any reason to say anything negat...
Gamers/consumers have become so spoiled and self-entitled that they believe they're making the games now. Artists deserve freedom; consumers are NOT the same as artists. It's good to give artists feedback to help them better themselves, but to demand that the game cater to your shitty whim does nothing but take away from the creative process.
Congrats in becoming one of them.
Since is when challenge the same thing as fun?
Also, easy games on a console primarily meant to be sold to casual gamers. Shocking.
Oh like, downloadable demos, online multiplayer and fully functional online infrastructure? Like what the Wii U will offer? And what the 3DS is slowly beginning to utilize?
Well, who can say for sure? But the signs point to yes.
I'll gladly take Mario Kart 7, Metal Gear 3D, Resident Evil Revelations and all of my eShop games over something like Angry Birds.
Fuck man, ANY dedicated gaming platform on the current market would be better for a gamer, price be damned.
I just ignore them. If they're mandatory, I try to get through them quickly.
Also, to play devil's advocate; sometimes the controls are different from other games and it helps to have that little "cheat sheet" to show you how to properly play the game. For example, Halo Anniversary, Team Fortress 2 and Gears of War all have different reload buttons.
So they do motion control before anyone else, yet they're a generation behind. I didn't know graphical power suddenly defined a generation of consoles.
Also having no Accomplishments at all is not much better than getting them with a platform that can properly handle them.
I would hope it's actually not another Galaxy, but something a little more new and unique.
That said, if it's Galaxy 3 or "U"niverse, I'd still play it for sure. Nintendo has a pretty tight head on its shoulders with Mario. I'm confident in their control of the franchise.
The Wii U is made consciously knowing that most gamers have a Wii already. History suggests this would never happen, but I wouldn't write off feature like this just yet.
I think you're right on the money with each 3D Mario experience being new and unique (save for the one direct sequel they did for Galaxy). It's like saying that the early 2D Mario games are exactly alike despite only sharing some basic game functionality and aesthetic design.
I doubt there will be a Galaxy 3, especially on Wii U. Every 3D Mario is always a unique experience. 64 was different from Sunshine and Sunshine was different from Galaxy. Personally I want Nintendo to branch out and do new things with Mario as they've been doing.
The progress within the eShop begs to differ. It's not perfect, but I like the aesthetic (and the stability) of the eShop far better than both iTunes and the Apple App store.
3 disagrees? I thought people would want external HDD's supported. Hm.
Remakes are not bad, but only when in sparse succession. The 3DS saw a few too many remakes early on (Star Fox, Zelda, and more recently Tales of the Abyss). Many of these were just ports with improved graphics or in TotA's case, just a 3D upgrade.
But remakes, whether they be homey little ports or actual remakes with new content can actually be beneficial to both the industry and to consumers alike.
Here's the scoop: Capcom is making a brand new Devi...
A computer and a dedicated gaming device are two very different devices though. Sony "kinda" attempted to bridge that gap with the PS3 and it didn't work particularly well as a selling point.
Not to say the PS3 is bad though. I personally prefer it as just a gaming console.
Welcome to N4G everybody.
