Aside from fan games like Mari0 and Super Mario Crossover, most of that "collection" of ROMs of yours is illegal.
Besides, I like buying my games. It supports the people whose content I like, and I get to play it on my console of choice. The Wii let me experience games like Mario Party 2 and Sin and Punishment and the 3DS gave me an opportunity to play Metroid Fusion and Fire Emblem. All of which were legal.
So yeah, PC doe...
Enough with the elitist attitude. Some of us like consoles/PCs/both. Kindly get over it.
Also PC won't be getting Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Ratchet, Jak, etc.
Providing hardware that is apparently very comfortable for devs will have that effect.
People love Pokemon. Why not make more of them?
I don't see it as a bad idea. More content for your buck, I suppose.
Well, there goes the focus on the core audience.
Having the right to charge whatever you want for what you're selling is called capitalism. It's simply a matter of how much you think your consumer base will be willing to pay.
Personally, I'd like for games to cost the same as a DVD, roughly $19.99. But that's simply not going to be a reality. Not until gamers put their feet down and vote with their wallets.
That said I don't mind the $60 price tag. Or at least I didn't until they sta...
I found it to be an interesting read. I have faith in gamers on the internet, but there are plenty of people out there who make gamers look very badly, including people in the more professional journalist outlets. We've been evolving for decades. Let's move on to something better and (for the love of all things good about the industry) less hateful.
@Hellsvacancy
Don't be so antagonistic. He's referring to people who bash the Wii U regardless of whatever positive feedback/news is given out about it.
I say go with the Nintendo approach. At least take the time to update the graphics a little more than a resolution upgrade and offer some new content (outside of achievements/trophies).
The 3D remakes on the 3DS are underrated as far as I'm concerned.
Good point well said.
I guess that works for some people. Though I don't like to delete my game save files and I never sell my stuff. Call it a habit, but I like to keep all of the games I buy. I tend to not revisit them often.
The multiplayer is quite good, but for some reason Sakurai's distance from Nintendo once again hampers his overall very well polished experience.
Mario Kart 7 had a very intuitive "join game" system in which players could jump in and spectate (until a free spot was available) in a friend's game. This included communities and random match making. Kid Icarus Uprising (as far as I can make of it) doesn't have this feature (not even a damn invite system) and...
Why would I want to?
And even then, wouldn't a pack of cards ultimately wind up being cheaper than paid DLC anyway? Not to mention you get nifty little collectible cards out of it.
Nuts. Here's hoping Iwata comes to the States then! XD
When he takes a 50% slash out of his own paycheck to keep things in line, you know shit just got real.
Nintendo's making a ton of smart decisions as of late. I look forward to seeing what comedy naysayers and trolls bring to the table.
Oh, that's a bummer. I don't seem to have gotten him yet. And the article says nothing about this being exclusive to any one region.
I suppose what's "wrong" with the lot of us is that the quote does not seem to hold much water given that it contradicts, not only itself from previous statements, but various other developers who suggest that the Wii U is significantly more powerful.
It's hard to take this in as a credible/legitimate quote when it just seems so... not.
I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I've never said to anyone that there is no variety on PC. I however, don't like being treated like shit for saying I enjoy the games I can play on my consoles just because someone happens to have a nice computer with some new high tech video card and I don't.
I've said it before and I'll say it again; I will buy the Wii U for Super Smash Bros. 4 before I go out of my way to buy a PC that can play Starcraft II at...
