Miku's comments are generally demeaning and insulting toward those who enjoy anything Nintendo creates.
The rest are often just nonsensical. Not that the previously mentioned insulting ones aren't.
Huh, you're the first I've see to have said that. I personally thought the dubbing was quite good and I think that JRPGs should have their dubbing outsourced to England more often.
I personally found it really cool that this thing can double as a Wii remote (or so I read). That's a pretty interesting upgrade over the standard Pro controller.
*Shrug* I don't know what to tell you. The Wii U screen seemed sharper to me.
EDIT: Specifically speaking, I played the Uncharted game on the Vita and it didn't look quite as good as the PS3 iterations (for obvious reasons). Playing Black Ops 2, AC3 and Darksiders II on the gamepad looks just as good as it does on my TV.
Maybe it's just me? Like I said, don't know what to tell you.
It's a smaller screen. 480p resolution is not ineffective on a smaller screen. By virtue it's more clear than a Vita screen, which already looks quite good.
I've played Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed 3 on this screen and they both looked quite good. That's more than enough for me.
Also I choose not to play at night on my HDTV because looking at it while laying down in my bed hurts my neck. Off-TV play fixes that issue for me.
That's a fair point if you care for achievements. Thing is I personally care not for them. My achievement score was reasonably large before I sold my 360 (which was at one point my primary console), but it was mostly because I just played a lot of games. I almost never completed any of the achievement lists in any of my games.
Let's agree to disagree; It really is all a matter of preference. You favor achievements and I favor off-TV play.
I'm perfectly content with buying multiplats on the Wii U even if their only unique feature is off-TV play. I love that feature and as long as it plays well, I wouldn't have much of a reason to complain.
To be fair, there's a separate app for Netflix. I'm sure they'll work it in with a future update.
It's the end of the world as we know it,
It's the end of the world as we know it,
It's the end of the world as we know it,
And I feel fine!
You know the PS1 was weaker than the N64 and the PS2 was weaker than the GCN and Xbox, right?
@Eyeco
That's because the people who developed those games CHOSE to make them look that way. Mario Galaxy and Skyward Sword are gorgeous games, as are Xenoblade Chronicles and Donkey Kong Country Returns. If those games were rendered in 1080p, they'd look like low-to-mid end 360/PS3 games.
You cannot fault Nintendo if third parties half-assed their support of the Wii.
It's an acronym for the protagonist of DmC.
DINO
Dante In Name Only.
And I'll respond to THAT with a quote from those horribly written cutscenes.
"F*CK YOU!"
Isn't this a current generation game though? I could have sworn it was coming to the 360 and PS3.
Your disagrees speaks volumes. I agree, the man is indeed a good sport.
It can be inferred that each Link is a descendant or a reincarnation of the previous one. Or they just coincidentally look alike and have the same destiny. Who knows in all honesty?
Certainly has flaws, but I'd rather have it than not have it at all.
My Christmas wish is for shitty articles like this to stop appearing.
"Hey Nintendo...CRAZY idea I know but, and bare with me, why don't you fix this yourself."
They have. They already confirmed that Wii Us of next spring will have the update pre-installed.
