I have to be pretty thankful to these guys. Without them I wouldn't have experienced the exquisite Last Story and I wouldn't get to try out Pandora's Tower. I hope they continue to be successful in their endeavors.
XBLA wasn't very friendly to indie debs to begin with if you go by the experiences recalled by Team Meat and Phil Fish. If this turns out to be true, it will be an absolute shame.
Damned if they do, damned if they don't. The only intervention needed is for articles like these to stop.
Said player base can grow. It just needs the support that can attract more players. Besides, isn't supplying DLC fairly inexpensive if its already been made? so it's not exactly outside the realm of reality for them to strengthen support on the Wii U side of things and have a stronger userbase for next year's COD game. Just my two cents though.
It's a good thing this community represents a minority and nothing more. We're talking about people who criticize EA and Pachter on a near daily basis. Suddenly both parties say something negative about the Wii U and all hell breaks loose. To me that's hypocritical.
Either way, the recent Direct has me excited still. Even I can admit that the Wii U was in need of more "must have" content and that's exactly said conference provided. It pleased me as a...
Yes, a creepy single player Resident Evil game is SO much worse than a cooperative CoD inspired RE game. I totally see how that works leahcim. /s
I was gonna say... Wouldn't it be better to just let Sony do their thing? Doing a concept design and making the full fledged system are two different feats entirely.
I'm not necessarily sure if its a hybrid of Skyward Sword and Wind Waker... The shadows and overall graphical look of the game gives me déjà vu in regards to Nintendo Land.
But you are correct, these are new assets being used to recreate the game. I have to wonder if it will be like the 3DS remakes where they use the original code or if they're recreating even the code from the ground up as well. It will also be interesting to find out how the game feels fro...
Well that's a good statistic. Could be higher, but I was a bit skeptical on just how many people have gone online with these devices. Hopefully that will encourage Nintendo to further expand on their online infrastructure.
It would be nice if there was some essence of mutual respect on all accounts. Granted I'm no stranger to getting snippy with others during game related debates, which is something I continue to work on, but it honestly would be nice on the other end of the spectrum as well.
For example, it would be nice if damn near 80% of the arguments I receive over defending something Nintendo related or something mildly critical of something non-Nintendo wasn't always "oh you...
@Donnieboi
Yeah clearly my fanboyism blinded myself to the correlation between "weak sales" and "poor sales". God, what a joke of a response.
Why would they show the debut trailer in a conference specifically for the west if they didn't intend to bring it to that region?
Now multiply the 3+ game attachment rate.
Well they kind of joined their console and portable teams together, so... Yeah.
First of all, it's a Pachter article. There is hardly a need to address it.
Secondly, when has Sony ever received any notably negative buzz on this site? The PSN hack is the only thing that comes to mind, and that wasn't even really justified against Sony.
Seriously, the matter is completely one sided and the bias is annoying enough. Now we have notable trolls suddenly getting a ton of agrees for spouting THE SAME garbage from before.
Oh great, more of this crappy rhetoric.
The sales have been adequate, decent or otherwise just okay. NOT. POOR. Get that freaking straight. This thing is selling at a minor loss at a considerably higher than normal price in a faulty economy, AND it sold faster than its competition's predecessors in the first two months.
Yeah, some good news. Meanwhile three duplicate stories about the Wii U are taking up the most heat today. Makes perfect sense. /s
@Root
You know what's ironic about you being the first to comment on this article? Look at the hottest Wii U posts of the day. ALL of them are negative with a ton of freaking buzz with anti-Wii U and even anti-Nintendo comments, not to mention two of them are duplicate stories.
So the next time you tell me that the bias is against Sony and not Nintendo, think long and hard about your comment.
Okay, I've had it. What is this, the third duplicate of this story? Who are the idiots approving these?
Not really that crazy, no. If you get a game with the intention to get its designated platform, then there isn't really any issue. I did the same thing with Ocarina of Time on the 3DS.
