Same here. I'm still itching for Aliens, Monster Hunter as well as Pikmin 3. I think the eShop will be the saving grace for the console's content for the in between time, what with the Virtual Console set to launch at some point as well as whatever smaller/indie titles that may come out.
Exactly. I bought a $300 Playstation 3 a few years after the fact that it initially launched at twice that price and it was bundled with a game. That's just how the market is.
@Godchild1020
Ah, I stand corrected. Ah well. Point still stands. The Wii U managed to sell beyond that in a much shorter span of time. Comparing the Vita to the Wii U when talking about sales does not make for a very strong argument in this regard, especially when the Vita continues to sell pretty slowly. Not saying the Wii U isn't selling sluggishly at present, but its early figures were stronger than people give it credit for.
And make sure Sakamoto stays well the hell away from the project.
@Cam977
You may want to check the sales figures. Aside from some exceptions the Wii U has consistently sold better than the Vita each week. Not exactly by much, but better regardless.
It also managed to reach lifetime sales of 3 million units sold within its first few months, selling launch numbers faster than the 360 and PS3 in a worse economy. The Vita took two years to reach 2.2 million after its launch.
So try again.
How was the gameplay in Other M better than Prime's?
Metroid Prime 1, 2 and 3 had incredibly smooth gameplay, harmed only by the fact that it was not dual stick gameplay like a traditional FPS (which by the way was fixed in the Trilogy pack for the Wii).
Other M had a finicky d-pad for navigating a 3D space and on top of that the only way to shoot missles was to turn your Wii remote toward the screen which renders you immobile AND puts you in a first pers...
Well, that's nice. I mean I'd be excited either way, but hey, that's even better!
I do believe that a profit of a used game sale (some small percentage at least) SHOULD go to the publisher. But that's not the way the market works. What developers/publishers need to do is make buying NEW copies more attractive.
Here are two examples.
1. Club Nintendo codes. Get free stuff for buying new Nintendo games. Works for me!
2. Sony's cross-buy codes. An extra copy of the game for your Vita is a nice little gift. I think I...
How many Wii U games came out in January? Oh right.
Also the headline should have specifically stated that this was primarily for the UK, where the Wii U's hardware and software sales are not particularly strong.
@Mika @LOL_WUT
Unlike you two nimrods, I'm capable of knowing when it's not time to defend something and when to criticize it as well as vice versa. You two just like to criticize EVERYTHING Nintendo does.
Seriously, GTFO you trolls.
EDIT: Besides, I've said before that Nintendo is by no means perfect and have had their share of ups and downs. Just because they're my favorite game producer and I defend them often doesn't m...
@nukeitall
1. Nintendo got rid of friend codes.
2. A company needs to stop making money and spend a lot of money. Nintendo products always make money.
3. The Wii U has issues, but they're not nearly as bad as, say, the Wii's problems. But yes, you're right. Nintendo customer service is usually a lot better than this.
EDIT: Also why did I get 7+ disagrees? Seriously, no one bothers to provide an argument. :/
Agreed. Something like this is not acceptable, preferred dev/publisher or not. This "solution" was a crappy cop out. This really should be fixed and hopefully soon.
I can concede to that. Tying accounts and games to an account in this day and age is just inconvenient and counterproductive. With luck they can fix this and update the network to have transferable IDs.
ZombiU had a higher attachment rate than God of War III.

Solo? You have a coop AI partner with you through the bulk of the story. And what about the coop in Raid Mode? At least give players the option. Sheesh.
Demo? There's already a downloadable demo for the Wii U!
Raid Mode is actually pretty awesome because it's separate from the main experience, like Mercenaries in Resident Evil 4.
Disappointing, but I kind of expected it. It's a bare bones port of the 3DS game which already lacked campaign coop. I assume it still has the online cooperative Raid Mode?
@Trunkz Jr
It's not the loss of exclusivity that's the problem, it's the delay of the Wii U version.
Once more, everything is just IMO. In case it wasn't already obvious, I'm not particularly fond of Other M lol.
I disagree completely. The graphics for the time were brilliant on Metroid Prime. There was some incredible attention to detail, the landscapes looked desolate and abandoned and there was an interesting charm to how they showed the reflections and splatter on the visor. The electronic soundtrack was also spacey and isolated, exactly as the series is meant to...
