Yep, this is true. I am starting to feel that game companies spend more time worrying about how to push DLC instead of how to get a complete bugfree game into their customers hands. Perhaps they should put off creating DLC until they have confirmed that the game actually works. I am so tired of getting half way through a game only to have to shelve it and wait to see if the developer will actually patch their broken product.
It is the bug from Isabella's friendship. The one that causes the main character to move in slow motion during battles. Since I have it on 360 I can't fix the bug myself. So I'll wait for a patch. They supposedly are working on one, but they say it will take a while. Makes me think back to how quickly Fallout NV was patched in comparison.
I won't buy it if this is true. Really tired of overpriced DLC. I don't mind it if it enhances a game that has been out for a while. But one hour of play is not an enhancement in my book. There really should be some pricing standards for DLC.

If I buy a Big Mac, I get to eat everything that is included on the Big Mac that I paid for. I really like this game, and since I also got mine on sale at Best Buy I feel it is totally worth every penny. Heck the mini games alone make it worth the 39.99 pricetag. I really like the pool and mahjong games (so hard to find true mahjong in a video game), and of course the rest of the game is also great. There are things I wish they would do with the series, but all in all it is a lot of fun.

I don't always hate DLC, but I do think that they way Bioware/EA does DLC is a bit annoying. My biggest turn off for Mass Effect 2 was the Kasumi DLC. I found it annoying that since I didn't buy Kasumi I saw this empty spot in my game where Kasumi should be, a constant reminder that I was missing something.

I won't buy this game now that I know this, and I am glad that I learned this before picking the game up, because it always pisses me off when I discover this type of stuff after the fact. I don't hate DLC, and I can certainly afford a few dollars to buy the missing characters, but I feel gamers need to take a stand and I intend on practicing what I preach.

I hate facebook, but I caved and tried this game in order to get the free DLC. I was not impressed, and if not for the free DLC I would have considered it a total waste of time.
