I loved it, and so did my friends, but others hated it, so it depends. Try the demo and that should help you decide.

All I know is I would have bought Fable 4, but I will not be buying Fable Journey.

On one hand I know that Kinect sold a lot, and MS needs games to support it, so okay make games for Kinect. On the other hand I want more exclusive games for the 360 I bought before Kinect came on the scene and changed Microsoft's focus.

I liked the previous Fable games, but he lost me at Kinect.

Kinect games don't look fresh or fun to me, since I already went down the motion control road with Wii. While I don't think the idea of aiming for fresh is bad, Peter is barking up the wrong tree if he thinks adding Kinect makes a game fresh.

Agreed. Metacritics is a bad thing to base your future gaming decisions on. On one end you have bitter fanboys leaving reviews for games they never played, and on the other end you have game journalists hyping average games to keep their ad revenue rolling in.

We need a new standard for deciding if a game is hit or miss.

I was thinking the same thing, I love Borderlands!

That is true I have come across good and bad Gamestop employees. The problem is that often when I do come across a good Gamestop store employee they don't tend to stick around that long. I hear it is not the best place to work.

I am the type of person who will be very loyal to a store if I get good customer service, but often when I walk into a Gamestop I get blah service, not necessarily bad, just not anything remarkable that makes me think 'oh this is nice, I thi...

I have a love hate relationship with gamestop.

I love it when I am trying to find an older game that stores like Best Buy no longer stock, but I get annoyed every time they sale me an opened new game at full price. Sometimes they don't even bother to ask if a pre-opened game is okay, they just ring it up and act like it is normal.

I understand they need to protect their property, but they really should mark the game down a few bucks if it is open and l...

@Bidgpappy

LMAO - you sure assume a lot don't you? No wonder you are down to two bubbles. Apparently your parents didn't teach you much at all.

@The_Ultimate_Guy

That would be 'your wife', which could explain a whole lot. So because your wife has a certain taste in games that should mean all females think that way?

Maybe I just have more sense then to stereotype all women based on a few.

And here comes the shitty Kinect shovel ware. Hopefully the clueless casuals learned enough from Wii shovel ware to avoid games like this. If they don't sale they will stop being made. Seriously, we need to start a non-profit group to educate the casuals about the perils of crappy games from greedy crap developers.

I do not know a single female gamer that wants to play this trash, the ones I know play a lot of different types of games, including shooters.

Wake up and pull your close-minded head out of your ass, please. What you said is as dumb as saying male gamers 'only' play shooters. Different gamers like different things it is the same for men and women.

Save Kinect for party games and sports games. Leave it out of RPGs. When I am going to be playing a game for 40+ hours - as should be expected with any good RPG - I certainly don't want to deal with Kinect for my long gaming sessions.

As for Fable, I liked 2 & 3, but I would like it a whole lot better if all the NPC's were not designed in Peter's likeness. Seriously, why are they all - men and woman alike - clones of Peter? It is the one single thing that...

For the longest time, all people were talking about around here is PS3 and 360. Suddenly Nintendo has joined the race again. Good for them!

It is too early to tell if Wii U will be a threat but I wouldn't ignore them if I was Sony or MS. Think about it, gaming history is full of Nintendo doing the unexpected. Nintendo singlehandedly revived console gaming after the fall of Atari. When the first Wii was announced nobody would have expected it to become a casual gamer ...

As someone who owns both systems, I will admit to feeling a bit tired of hearing about Kinect, and I wish MS would announce more games that I am personally interested in, at the same time I know that I will always be able to find great games to play on Live's marketplace and I am looking forward to the next Alan Wake and Fable, so I won't be abandoning MS anytime soon.

As for PS3. Sony has announced a number of games that I am looking forward to, and their focus does ...

I see the haters and trolls have been busy.

I think the Wii U looks interesting. Casual gamers, kids and true Nintendo fans will love this new system. Certainly it will take a little more then touchscreen and HD to get the hardcore love back, but it is early and the simple fact that Nintendo wants the hardcore love back shows they are not happy just to make a quick buck off the casuals, they want it all.

People are saying they are late to the party, b...

I have no interest in playing Mass Effect 3 with Kinect, if anything this news would put me off the 360 version. Plus, I would rather have Bioware worrying about delivering quality products instead of jumping on board the gimmick parade.

I have both Heavy Rain and Alan Wake. I finished Alan Wake and liked it enough to download the DLC and be looking forward to a sequel. Heavy Rain still sits half finished, the gameplay simply didn't interest me, timed button pressing just doesn't do it for me.

So even if Heavy Rain sold more, I have to say I personally felt Alan Wake was the better game. That is just my opinion, still I feel that only people who have actually played both games have a right to judge...

This is a very generous offer on Sony's part.

Only problem is that I had to delete a lot of stuff from my hard drive in order to clear enough space for Infamous - reason I dislike digital distribution - also it takes a hella long time for the download to complete, so I won't bother with a 2nd PS3 game, but perhaps I'll take the PSP free games since they are sure to be smaller.

Still free is free and it is much more than Sony needed to do. I wou...

Fanboys will make a fuss, but in the end they will still buy the game, and insomniac knows it.

If you really are upset stick to your words and pass the game up, otherwise suck it up, since complaining isn't going to do you any good.

Considering all the people posting on this thread, it really doesn't look like anyone, including yourself has moved on. ; )

Obviously a lot of fans were disappointed by XIII, including myself, but I think we all still care about the FF series on some level.

One thing I am curious about is why SE picked XIII to do a second game on. It doesn't seem to be a popular choice, but that is just my opinion. I would like to see the FF series have a strong...
