Well, once Xmas is over and the casuals get tired of their new Motion Control toys and put them in the attic next to their Wii, maybe Sony & MS will turn their attention back to the people who have been supporting them all along.
PS: Motion Control is not all bad, thanks to it Nintendo made enough money that it can now afford to make good games again. Hopefully Move and Kinect will take the cash from the casuals and use it to make games for real gamers. ; )
This type of DLC should be outlawed! It is one thing for them to create DLC missions, weapons, and even new characters after the original game has been completed and shipped, but it is unacceptable to sale a half finished game and charge more for the pieces of the game they left out because they are greedy and want to milk the gamer.
The worst part is that often gamers buy the game thinking it is whole and find out later that it is not. This type of DLC needs to stop, an...
The download content I would most like to see would add NPC that were not so very gross looking. I mean really just one or two attactive NPCs is all I ask for. What really bugged me about Fable III is that we were even givin the option to create or own NPC but the options only allowed us to create another ugly character. One that looks suspiciosly like Peter Molyneux himself... But at least the prince/princess are better looking in this version.
Good god people, how some of you can even consider yourselves gamers while you spend so much time hating on consoles that you don't even own is just amazing to me. If you really love games you would be able to see that all consoles have good and bad games. You would not be so blind to the fact that even your favorite console has some crappy games. PS3, PSP and 360 all have their share of crappy games. I know since I own each all three systems. It is true that more crap has come out for...
Crap another annoying music game came out? I hate them for the simple fact that they clutter marketplace with tons of DLC and it makes it hard to find what I am actually looking for. I really wish you had the option to hide them.
Oh, but good for Rock Band fans, I guess.
Regarding "and exactly where do you see ps3 fans going crazy over this? none of the comments seem like they are desperate or disappointed it is exclusive.... because it will eventually come to ps3."
One example is in the first few posts which reads:
"Thanks bethesda for screwing over your fans who game on PS3 and PC. "
Honestly, this type of fanboy nonsense on N4G is just getting so old. I love this site for news, b...
While I understand your annoyance, you have to keep in mind the fact they are not the only company that does this. For example the PS3 Exclusive DLC for AC Brotherhood or that Batman Joker content.
I do agree in the fact that I hate exclusive DLC, no matter if it is exclusive to console or exclusive to a retail outlet, but don't think Bethesda is any worse then any of the other companies that make these types of deals. It's good business for them, but it really s...
Am I missing something, because I don't get the whole Level 5 as the new king idea. I mean they had some great PS2 games, but what about current generation? WKC was not all that great, it was fun, but not outstanding by any means. I'm not defending Square, because they have indeed screwed up, but I'm just wondering if I've missed out on some wonderful Level 5 game without realizing it.
They will probably sale it as DLC later for those who really want it. Okay, kidding, but seriously we just keep getting less and less in our games don't we.
Yep, or maybe:
Why opinion pieces are an embarrassment to N4G.
Nah, this probably has to do with the ESPN addition, which I personally have no interest in since I am not a sports fan. My current subscription is good until the end of 2011, and I'm sure I'll find a good discount on Amazon before the time comes for me to renew again, so I'm not too concerned.
I didn't notice many bugs during my first couple of days with the game, but the more I play the more issues I discover. I have also had two game freezes and last night I stopped playing because the game was slowing down so badly that it became annoying. At the same time I have logged over 45 hours of play already, so bugs or no bugs I feel the game has already been worth what I paid for it.
The one thing I am troubled about is the fact that the same game reviewers who g...
I just can't wait until this whole motion control thingy runs it course... the 3D thingy too. Maybe I am boring and old school, but when I play games I just want to relax in my comfy chair with a normal game controller in hand and nobody around to bother me. If I want to move and jump around I'll go outside and if I want family fun time I'll ... oh who am I kidding my family is a pain in the butt, so that will never happen.
A good point, I remember when I bought Tropico for 360 and found out it was full of bugs I considered returning it but held on to it because they promised a patch. I waited for months but never got a patch, don't know if they ever made one, since I am over the game now, but I really doubt it.
They certainly made a lot of bad decisions when it comes to their FF games. Those crappy Chrystal Chronicle games also come to mind. And yes they have not served Playstation fans well this generation. On the other hand, I am not convinced that The Last Remnant or Infinite Undiscovery would have sold better if they were PS3 exclusives, but maybe if they were also on PS3 they would have sold better at least they would have sold more... As for the handheld games, I have to agree. With the ex...
I played the game for a good 20 hours over the past couple of days, and for them to say the 'game breaks every 10 minutes' is total bullshit. Yes the game has bugs, and yes last night after playing the game for 10 hours straight the game froze on me. So no the game is not perfect, and yes it needs a patch, but this review is exaggerating the flaws too much. Bottom line is if you liked Fallout 3 you will like Fallout New Vegas, it is just as fun and just as addicting, and isn't th...
That is actually good advice. Because everyone has different tastes so if you don't know if you can trust the reviews but are still interested in the game rent it first.
I agree, I am really enjoying this game after two days of playing and have not yet encountered any bugs that are bad enough to ruin it for me.
Not sure what to think of this supposed 'blackmailing of game reviews', not sure if it is true and if so I am actually more troubled by the reviewer who pulled their scores for advertising dollars.
LMAO, funny but you just summed it up perfectly.
It is a good game, but a lot of people are easily frustrated by it as it has a very different battle system which is very hard for some people to master. Also you need to be prepared to die a lot. I liked the game, because it was very unique, but it isn't everyones cup of tea.
