I am disappointed, and I am curious how this would sale in America. I would buy it for sure, and I know I have seen a lot of pissed off people saying that they will not buy a Wii-U if Nintendo doesn't bring this, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower to America. I mean these are games that hardcore gamers might actually care about, but Nintendo is afraid to support them in the US.
It seems like Nintendo is making a choice: instead of letting the Wii go out in a blaze ...
That's okay in my book, since class action lawsuits are lame, and the only one who profits from them are the lawyers.
This would actually work very well, I wonder if they will figure it out before it is too late.
Although I do understand why you would assume that Square would support PS3, I also feel that you are silly to buy a PS3 to play Square games just because you assumed Square would continue to support PS3. Either buy a PS3, because you want to support Sony or buy the system that the games you want to play are released on.
Personally, I am a fan of games over systems, so I never buy a new system until it has enough games that I want to play actually on the shelves.

I love the games from both Bioware and Bethesda, but I do agree that releasing buggy games is a problem.
One other thing that I don't like is paying for DLC to get my level cap raised. This really became annoying for me with Fallout: New Vegas. I am only 1/2 way through the game, but have hit the level cap. Each DLC pack adds only 5 levels, so in order to get a decent level cap I have to buy 4 extra DLC packs. Which might not be a problem, but only 1 of the DLC packs...
I really miss Suikoden and wish for a new game on PS3. Not a port either, please, I want a full blown epic new game.
You can hook a PC up a TV, and lay on your sofa to enjoy games too, and PC's do have exclusive games... however I also pick console gaming, not because anything is wrong with PC gaming, I just like not having to worry about system requirements, my PC is an old bugger and I am too cheap to buy a new one.
About this article, couldn't they have come up with a better, less insulting, title? I won't actually click on this site and read what they have to say, because t...
Generally, I prefer single player games, because I like to focus on the game I am playing without distractions that others bring. I don't have anything against multiplayer, but I do think that some games should stay single player, because tacking on a multiplayer mode just to please the masses often results in mediocrity. I think the gaming market can support both multiplayer and singleplayer, so I don't understand why developers don't just make 100% multiplayer or 100% single pl...
@Flavor - Ever consider the reason some people don't enjoy multiplayer games is that they simply don't want to associate with people who fly off the handle when someone has a opinion that differs from their own, because really those types of people are not any fun to be around.
I agree about Lavitz, I was so upset when he died, he was a great character.
What I loved most about FF8 was the card minigame, the characters, and the story.
At the moment this game is on the bottom of my wish list, I didn't hate FF XIII, nor did I like it enough to actually finish it. I will wait until after the game releases, and base my decision to buy or not buy on the finished product.
If Netflix would have announced adding video games 6 months ago I would have been really happy about it, now however I am not certain how I feel...
We need to keep in mind: Netflix offered low DVD w/free streaming subscription fees until they put Blockbuster and the mom & pop shops out of business, and then they said f-you to their subscribers and raised their fees by an unreasonable percentage. Now they are looking to do the same with video games. If they succeed with g...
We need to stop being lenient on criminals like this guy. It is the reason most adults don't feel safe walking down the street at night and we also can't feel safe letting our children out of our sight for even a second.
It is time we stop making excuses for people who are basically bad. I don't give a shit if this guy had a bad upbringing, it doesn't make it okay to kill an innocent child. A lot of people have a crappy childhood, and still manage to becom...
While he rots in jail we pay the taxes that feed him. Personally, I would rather use that money to help other children who are in bad situations, and give criminals like this the punishment he deserves, which is this case is death.
America needs to rethink the screwed up legal system that allows stuff like this to exist. It is obviously a frivolous lawsuit, so if it makes it to court I hope the judge makes an example of this guy and he ends up paying Microsoft's legal fees along with his own. In fact, it would be great if this guy had to pay $500 billion to Microsoft for being a dumbshit and wasting the courts time. Perhaps something like that would make the next moron with a frivolous lawsuit think twice.
I have to admit you make a very good point. ; )
They should just focus on giving us a great Mass Effect 3 single player experience.
If they really feel the need to do a multiplayer Mass Effect they should do it as a spin off game and focus 100% on mulitplayer, but just leave Mass Effect 3 alone it is fine as single player.
Yes, but only until the casuals get bored and move onto something new, because that is what casuals do best spend money, get bored, move on to something new, spend money, get bored, move on to something new...
I have a couple of games on my must buy list, but for the most part I am going to wait for price drops, or try to catch some special holiday deals. I just can't keep spending $60 on day 1 releases only to find I don't actually have enough time to play 1/2 the games that I buy anyway.
But I really do want Skyrim, so that might end up being day 1.
