I don't understand what he is saying. He wants to basically take a PC and stuff a console in it? Doesn't that negate the ease and accessibility of consoles?
Nevermind. Ignore this.
Lost Planet? Really? Come on, there are much better games needing some attention.
Look at this comment on the website:
"Resolution on PS3 games (720p) as opposed to (1080p) on XBOX. 99%."
Ignorant, or what?
More like second rate gamer. What a joke.
And, why should I have to put up with 10 minute load times and constant connection issues? Nothing but frustration.
I'll check back in a year. Maybe it would be better if my friends used it, but whatever.
Why does everybody seem to forget that the PS3 is doing just as well as the 360 was at this point in its life cycle? Did the 360 fail? No, it is highly successful. When the PS3 reaches the age that the 360 is at it probably will be selling well.
Oh, wow, the irony. A fanboy telling a fanboy to stop being a fanboy.
I would support future remote play support if it was expanded on a bit.
I don't see how that is. If Microsoft finds it necessary to mention that they outsold the PS2 in their November 2008 NPD press release, I think Sony is doing quite well for themselves with the PS2.
"Outsold PS3 and PS2 combined."
Really shows how strong the PS2 is still going. Amazing. I would say they have every right to be happy with the sales, but I can't get over their "I did better than you" attitude.
Good on Media Molecule to continue to release free content for LittleBigPlanet.
I like how Sony never once mentions the competition in these press releases, yet Microsoft seems to boast about how they are destroying Sony in every press release, it seems. Just an observation.
Good sales for all this month. There are first and last places but nobody really did bad.
Please explain something to me. Since these companies are, you know, running a business, shouldn't the 'winner' or 'loser' be whoever has the greatest profit, not the greatest sales?
The way I see it, if Console A sells, say 100 units but they also make $100 on each unit sold, and Console B sells 500 but only makes $10 on each unit, shouldn't Console A have 'won' despite being outsold?
Saying that, it is pretty likely that Microsoft is making a greater profit tha...
Yeah, but none of it is mandatory is it? The PSN is still free. I don't have to pay a fee to sign on and game with my friends or use the store.
Oh, okay Mr. Disagree. You're right, I do have to pay for all of that. I was wrong, my bad.
/sarcasm
Eh, this happens with many major releases. Nothing will ever go perfectly and the issues will (should) be sorted out in due time. I don't see why everyone is yelling about how Home is a failure because of some technical problems during launch.
Just have something that is starting to disappear now days - patience.
God damn, it is a war in here!
I personally am looking forward more to the PS3 or 09, but both consoles should be able to hold their own, if 08 is any indication of things.
*Insert GTA 4 was crap complaint here*
Finally the PC version is almost here. The graphics are much nicer than the console counterparts. Too be expected, I guess, but I haven't played a proper PC game in maybe over a year. This will change that, hopefully, if there is mod support.
This discovery coincides with Destroy All Humans going exclusive and its NA release. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
Maybe he should address the fact that the central point of the CNN article was wrong. The PS3 is doing well, very well in fact, and sales have not 'plummeted' as CNN would lead you to believe.
