Waiting patiently for GT5. Very patiently.

I honestly thought that the terminal hacks were far easier than the bobbleheads. I simply scrolled down the map hitting up every place that I ran into and I got the achievement in no time. Actually finding all 20 of those bobbleheads though... ugh. Especially since there are 2 that you can miss out on forever if you don't get them on certain quests.

But anyways, I've played a few minutes of PoP with my friend. Certainly a rental. I much preferred Sands of Time (which reminds me, ...

I fail to see the appeal of Second Life. Someone enlighten me.

So a game based on a movie based on a TV series based on a manga?

...It has failure written all over for it.

Only in North America. It's multiplatform in Europe.

Haha, true. Well I'm using Chrome now (it did only take a few seconds to install!) and its pretty ugly.

What do you guys recommend? I've been using Firefox for a while, but I really don't like it much.

So out of Opera and Chrome, which one is better (in your experiences?)

Keep digging yourself a hole, Ripten...

Really, what was this guy trying to prove? That the entire Sony community is comprised of nothing but fanboys and he is the pinnacle of unbiased judgement? That's the only reason I can think of for his writing this.

Well, quite ironic considering the content of his rant. I would say that he makes the Sony community look like the pinnacle of unbiased judgement when compared to that rant.

BS

That is all that needs to be said about this. I sure as hell don't want some damn ugly label ruining my collection.

“We must hold the video game industry accountable and do everything in our power to ensure parents are aware of the detrimental effects that violent games can have before making decisions on which games are appropriate for their children to play,”

Isn't this what the ESRB is for? Talk about repetition... Parents should be able to s...

Psshh, forget Rock Band and Guitar Hero. They're just amateurs. It's all about Frets On Fire now!

Kidding... but I do prefer Guitar Hero namely because III is the only one that I own. No way am I forking out for something as trivial as an instrument upgrade.

Updated my comment a moment before you posted that. :p

Like I added to my original post, you are correct as far as Guitar Hero 3 is concerned. Nothing really changed but the devs so that can be viewed as a fair sequel. Now World Tour on the other hand is a blatant copy of Rock Band but with some added features (create-a-song for example). That I consider pretty close to a rip-off.

What I originally meant though, was that Forbes has no right to call Rockband a ri...

Actually Guitar Hero 3 is a rip off of Guitar Hero 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour is a rip off of Rockband 2. Well Guitar Hero 3 is not necessarily, per se. It can be viewed as another sequel, albeit under a different developer. There is no doubt in my mind though that Neversoft and Activision wanted to cash in on the popularity of Rock Band with World Tour.

Series progression:

Harmonix(GHI) > Harmonix(GHII) > Neversoft(GHIII) > Neversoft(GHWT)

Everybody argues over physics and customization... what gets me is the car selection. Please someone name me another game that has available over 600 cars all rendered as accurately as possible. Please somebody name me another game that makes it possible to race the car you drive to work everyday, even if it isn't exactly a race machine.

Exactly... you can't.

Doesn't matter. What does matter is that when a problem arises, the first thing I think of is Microsoft and one of their apps. Not a good stigma for a company to have.

I wrote a nice long statement here, then my computer decided to crash and I can't be bothered to type it up again.

I will keep it brief then. Of course I know we are in a free market economy. Of course I know a tax raise would be in order. That is a pretty large insult to me if you think I don't realize these things.

Capitalism is allowing these corporations to charge exorbitant fees for things that should cost much less. Like right now, my connection to the inte...

...And yet again the rest of the world continues to move ahead while the U.S. stagnates.

Once I finish up school, my hope is to relocate to Europe.

Unplugged it? That's pretty harsh. I would be pissed if I had just lost a good lot of advancement.

But that kid acted out of line (obviously). If he is 19 years old and isn't disciplined enough to obey his parents while he is in their house, they should just throw him out or tell him to make his own food. He's old enough.

Parents nowdays need to step it up. Calling the police will only sever the relationship more.

I'm worried about how my computer will handle the whole open enviroment thing. That will probably be brutal on my ATI 9200 and 512MB of RAM. Yes, I'm behind the time. But that was something you didn't need to worry about with The Sims. I can play The Sims 2 + expansions fine.

But maybe the frame impact won't be so bad... I'm still buying it.

"Microsoft right? So it's pretty easy to use?"

HAHAHAHA. That is hilarious. I've had more complications with my PC then anything else I've owned (technology wise). Just last night I fought an epic battle against my computer to restore some very important files that became corrupt out of the blue. You could see the fire in my eyes as I charged through my hard drive trying to find the source of the problem. Tears streamed down my face as I became locked into a battle of...

I love how people are crying for gaming to be accepted by everyone and potentially included as an art form. Please tell me how games can ever be 'art' if there is no story? Sorry folks, but Call of Duty, Halo, and Gears of War aren't exactly artistically inovative or varied.

But art is objective, so I'm going to stick with the fun and longevity side of things. Maybe I think all of you are a bunch of a$$ holes. Maybe I don't want to play with any of you. Maybe I just want to pla...
