A 7? Somewhat disappointing. I might relegate this to a holiday purchase, rent, or whenever the price drops to $29.99
Went a little bit overboard there. All games should be 2D? I agree that many of the classics were great games, but thats why they are classics. Not every 2D game has been great. Really, everything evolves and games are the same.
Also, "no more GTAs", what the f*ck. It is not all about bling and gangster culture as the author makes it out to be. Obviously, he has only played San Andreas or Saints Row. And what's to stop devs from including graphic themes and violence i...
You'd think that for having 'downloaded games from the PSN for the past year' he would know better.
Didn't 2k kind of... listen to gamers too with this patch? Saying Criterion is the best developer because they listen to fans shows how narrow minded you are.
I am truly amazed. No whining about how it's not coming quick enough? No complaining that the new features aren't worth the wait?
Nice update. It is good to finally have flash 9 on the browser, and get access to many more websites. I'm surprised it has creeped up on us like this.
They were rather disappointing this year. I was all hyped up for some great new titles, and... nothing. Hopefully they have some good things in production, though.
How is wanting to make a profit loosing it? It's not like you're going to miss out on anything because a few more gamers get to enjoy the title.
Well you never know. And the hype has been massive, maybe bigger than GTA IV. That much hype is dangerous. Look at Too Human or Lair, they are not bad games but failed to live up to its hype. Thus they were slammed heavily and completley ruined Lair's sales in the market. Imagine if that happened with LBP, it would take many other great games and time for the PS3 to recover.
Or maybe I just think and worry about these things too much. Hmph.
Over a week? How did that manage to happen? Oh well, all the better to you gamers from Kuwait who get your hands on it early.
I don't think it is possible for LBP to get below a 9. I guess we can stop worrying whether or not it will live up to the hype. Sackboy has, for sure, proved himself worthy of all the hype.
I had no idea Burnout Paradise was a 360 exclusive game. A better choice of words is in order, perhaps. Not a large matter, though.
Not surprising, considering Sony stated that they were all for in-game ads. As long as it is no major annoyance (i.e. huge billboards looming over many roads with a blown up picture of Obama's face proclaiming "Vote Obama!") it doesn't really bother me much.
I believe the open zone is thataway. I find it amazing that you have six bubbles, well, no longer.
You're intelligent.
Great scores so far. Looks like a 9 may be as low a score as it gets from legitimate reviewers. I say legitimate because looking on Metacritic, it has a user rating of 8.3. And the game isn't even out, the bastards.
Hopefully they learn from their mistakes with the first game. Parkour + assassinations is a really fun combination, if they can manage to get rid of the repetitive nature.
I see where you're coming from, but a 10/10 or a 5/5 implies the game has no flaws, which all games do. If there is a flaw, it should be deducted for.
Oh no, it got a 9! Quick all the 360/PS3 fanboys come to the attack/defence!
Hello, no game is perfect. I personally find reviewers less legit each time the dish out the 10s. From what I've played in the beta, (and that's even an old version) a 9 to uppper 9s are very reasonable scores.
I'm sorry, but I never mentioned the console war and the PS2.
While you are asking what my point is, may I ask what yours is?
Source? Or have I seriously been ignorant enough to miss that?
I f*cked up here. Ignore, please.
