I feel like I'm the only person that enjoyed it. I loved trekking it through the wilderness to avoid guard posts, and the action was okay.
It's one of those games you enjoy in short bursts (well to me, anyways.)
Totally unbiased eh? Right... Look, I don't own a 360 but I don't go around making biased judgements on games I haven't even played. In fact, I would very much love to play the 'top 3' games that you listed there.
You, my friend, should grow up and do the same. It is plainly obvious that you haven't played any of those 'disappointments.'
It is unbelievable and if you don't see that, you're a damn fool. Picked it up last night, and the amount of things you can create is endless.
Wow, you are a moron.
It's not even 2D. I mean, come on, what a waste of space you are if you can't see that. I'm not even going to bother explaining it to you.
Play it.
Heh, it is a tough choice for me because I know both are decent and both will last me for a long time. But what will last the longest? Tough especially since this is the first time I will have played either IP.
LittleBigPlanet automatically jumps to everyone's mind, but you never know.
Eh screw it, your right. LBP it is.
I'm (still) on the fence about Saints Row 2. It's either this or LittleBigPlanet and I don't know which one offers the most replayability.
On topic, specs shouldn't be a problem to pretty much anyone with a decent computer.
Actually, its big draw is having a truly open enviroment. For example, there will be no load times when you leave your house and visit a community lot. It is all just one big enviroment. Sounds good to me.
"It's that time of the year where each website announces their Game of the Year winners; after weeks of arguing and fighting we finally came up with a list that we think represents the entire year of gaming on the Xbox 360 system."
Read people. It's for the 360 only. I mean honestly, I fail to see what is wrong with picking Gears Of War 2 as their GOTY. From what I've read, it is one of, if not the best games on the 360 right now.
I couldn't help but smile. I wish I still had a wii bit of excitement left about Christmas... yeah that was bad, sorry.
I find it highly ironic that you call the other commenters 'wannabe analyists' yet you yourself go on to analyse the situation. And very poorly I might add.
Blu ray is far from struggling. In fact, if you would look back to the early years of DVD (which I doubt you can do considering how narrow minded you are) you would see that blu ray is doing just as well, if not better than DVD at this point in its lifecycle.
Different options? What are those outside of DVD? ...
As a consumer (i.e. me) it doesn't matter if the system is in 'last place.' In fact, what is your definition of last place? It's objective. It might be last place in sales, but is it last place in terms of games? Quality?
And I honestly don't care if its in 'last place' as long as quality titles keep rolling out. Why concern yourself with things so petty (to a consumer) as sales when the real concern is the quality of games. And the Playstation 3 certainly is not in 'last place...
Heh, so much for it flopping.
Oh, thanks for the information. That is great to know.
You know, I really hate things like building tools for games like LittleBigPlanet. You are pretty much forced to buy it because if I don't, I will practically be locked out of every level made from here on out if enough people purchase the DLC.
Now I will purchase the DLC, its a great value, but not right now. I don't want to have my experience ruined between now and whenever I finally purchase it, you know?
Ouch. You Europeans always get the short end of the stick, it seems. Really sad considering that besides Japan, Europe is Sony's biggest money maker.
Fanboys on both sides are extremely loud.
I thought he was talking about the companies themselves in that statement. My bad if I interpreted it wrong.
Please. Do you really think I spend my time in the game taking Roman out to eat? No. I'm sure owning a gang was great, and I know about buying property - you could do it in Vice City - but I'm not letting any of those past features get in the way of my enjoyment.
And I wasn't knocking on San Andreas by saying 'sims-esque.' I'm sure if I was to go pick it up today, I would enjoy the hell out of it, but that is not the point.
My argument was, you don't need extras ...
"At least Microsoft has one thing over Sony - they sometimes know when to shut the hell up. However, while they don’t get the piss ripped out of them because of their CEO’s stupid comments, they do tend to be quiet when they should be shouting and screaming."
Hmmm, I honestly thought it was the other way around.
No I have not played San Andreas. I went from GTA 3 to Vice City to IV. Maybe that is why I am the only person in (seemingly) the world still enjoying IV. I don't need "SIMS-esque" features to have fun.
If you prefer San Andreas, that is all fine and good, but I don't see where all the unfounded hate for IV is coming from.
I wish I shared your enthusiasm. It's hard to get gunned up to try to get all the trophies/achievements when the game freezes up every gaming session.
Bethesda should patch the the thing before they release it to a wider market. Fallout 3, as of now, needs it. Bad.
