Shooters are all like advance > shoot > advance > shoot
Racing games are all like speed up > slow down > turn > speed up > slow down > turn
Sports games are all like pass > run > pass > run > attempt to score
Western RPGS are all like run > kill > talk > quest > run > kill
Bots, I love bots. More games should have them. I can see myself playing against them quite a bit when I get this game.
Damn, I can only dream of a 1Gbps connection.
FFS, the media are a bunch of brainless morons. Pedophiles are probably using the classified section in the Sunday Mercury to attract kids. Maybe they should write an article about it.
All of those sites are very respectable and credible. IGN especially. Eurogamer may be a bit harsh, but they are fair and credible.
I don't mind playing as a badass. The feeling of power and control is rather satisfying.
However, paying for content that is already on the disc? What a scam. I don't see how anyone can get away with that. I understand regular DLC, the stuff that couldn't make the final cut due to time or money restraints that they can continue working on after the game has shipped... but paying for something that can and should be included in the finished game? Horrendous. Even worse when said...
Heh, yeah. Well Killzone 2 certainly looks to be deserving of it.
I was only using games as an example, as a converter box doesn't really cost that much more than one. Why on earth would not gaming affect anyone's ability to purchase a converter box?
And they really aren't difficult to set up. Even people who aren't tech savvy should be able to do it. If they can't for some reason, it really isn't that hard to find some help.
Yes, but then we'd have to constantly hear Killzone 2 this, Killzone 2 that. And Killzone 2 doesn't roll of the tongue as well as Halo. Nightmare, it would be.
Progress does not wait for everyone. Better that we move along than not, and like drpepper said, you can get a discount on a converter box.
It really isn't much of an investment. If you can afford to buy games, you can afford a DTV converter box.
Baseless stereotypes FTW!!!
...Aaannnddd, this is where you stop reading.
But on a serious note, if you take into account that Netflix reported about 9.3 million customers can see that if Pachter is correct about his numbers, about 12% of its userbase is through the 360. Not bad, but not exactly a gold mine.
Well it certainly is one sexy machine. Keep it in good shape and that thing is the envy of the media room. It's got the looks, the charm, and the substance... basically everything you wished you could have had in high school.
:)
Warning, troll circle jerk in progress. Please use caution in the area.

Sorry, I just had to.

Yes, the port will run better than the native. No doubt about it.

Pointless article. Wherever anonymous communication is allowed with others, there will always be these sorts of people. This is not an Xbox Live exclusive problem, this is a problem that the entire internet community has to deal with.
I'm willing to bet that there is even some registered here.
Killzone 2 will not outsell Halo 3. Halo had been an established (and very hyped) series. It is one of the Xbox's flagship series. Not to mention, it has seeped into mainstream culture.
Killzone on the other hand is neither of those. It is hyped very much inside the gaming community, but people on the outside probably have never heard of it. It may be the best shooter ever, but it simply doesn't have the base to outsell Halo.
Case in point, several friends of min...
I have to disagree on the money. I think the only thing I've spent caps on is the schematics for the Rock-It-Launcher. Everything else I own (and I have enough weapons/armor/ammo to fill an armory) has been found through exploration. The possibility of more loot (.44 magnum rounds aren't in steady supply!) was enough to keep me exploring for some time.
Your other points, I very much agree with.
Exactly.
I'm sure as hell not upgrading to Vista or Windows 7. Well, maybe Windows 7, but only after its been out for a good long time and has proven itself to be as good as XP.
